Don't know why I've been having such insatiable cravings for sushi lately. Especially after gyming, I find myself longing for the cool touch of a buttery slice of salmon belly against my tongue and the soft, buoyant bite of vinegar-tinged Japanese rice between my teeth.

But no sushi for me tonight, so I can only make do with the delicious memory of this maki roll comprising cream cheese and avocado tightly encircled by rice, seaweed, and thin blankets of salmon belly. The thought of that spicy mentaiko mayo dressing is making my mouth water!

Poached eggs, jalapeños guacamole, Spanish chorizo, hollandaise sauce on white ciabatta.

Featuring the Red Velvet and Apple Pie Crumble parfait special at $6.90. Craving for some stunning froyo with an attitude, do watch out for Nookie Yogurt at the POMO from 24 Feb 2015 onwards as the store will be coming to you pretty soon.

Here's the science behind it =
Light caramel glaze + choux puffs + chantilly cream + sable biscuit base

Don't let these plain-looking waffles fool you – their crisp exterior conceal a hearth of truffled macaroni & cheese burrowed into their soft centres. It sounds terribly heavy, but the infusion of jalapeños adds a healthy dose of heat to keep it from being so.

I love waffles, I love mac & cheese, and I love truffle oil. So you can just imagine how much I looooooove this dish!

And I have compiled a list of cafes in Singapore, sorted in locations for you cafe hoppers. (Link in bio) Though I've listed more than a hundred of them but I'm sure there are some that I've definitely missed out. So leave a comment if you would like me to include. With that, have fun in your cafe hopping journey! 😅🍴 p/s: My best comfort food will always be fried chicken 😋

The roasted black sesame ice cream is really good imo. 🍦 Waffle wise, easily in my list of top 10 waffle places ☺️

Music is dope, the food is even better. The korean minced rib steak & joo bossam is 😍 And makgeolli spam #joobarsg

My tastebuds were quick to applaud the fantastic way all the flavours came together in this brunch item. In particular, I really liked the addition of spinach to the scrambled eggs. And that rich, creamy house-made dill aioli was swoon-worthy.

pretty chill place and simple but tasteful decor/furniture! we had their ultimate platter, kaki fry, spicy mee, mee pok, poutein and salted egg onion rings (not in picture)
