Entrecôte Steak ($34.90)
.
The trimmed Entrecôte steak @lentrecote_sg was served with walnuts green salad, free flow fries and their insane legendary 👑sauce. To enhance your dining experience, they even serve half of the beef to you first and part 2 a lil later so that it does not turn cold. What is so remarkable is really that legendary sauce which is the chef's secret recipe. Peppery, buttery and slightly tangy, I had 2 extra servings of the aromatic sauce to dip my fries in!

Sher Wagyu F1 Ribeye. Australian Wagyu beef produced by the Sher family is tender and juicy with superb flavour. The meat has been recognised by Australia’s leading chefs and the marbling makes it rich and buttery. SKIRT uses prime Mesquite wood-fire to bring out a naturally mild and smoky flavour.

Found out about this place online after reading a couple of blogs on Heng Hua cuisine, and decided to also try this dish out for its the specialty here. Cod fish was really succulent and had its own bounciness despite being fried and doused in the soup, while the soup base seemed to have absorbed the nourishing ingredients such as Dan Gui, Gou Qi, ginger, seaweed, cabbage etc with a bit of milkiness, while being light and flavourful. Pretty value for money at $25, and they have a pretty cute SG50 deal where they give a squash set (racket and ball with CD tutorial worth $28) for minimum of $50 spent lol.

We added on La La ($2) to this huge portion of White Bee Hoon (medium) which came with squids and prawns. While the seafood were fresh, the main star of the show didn't really shine for us. It was quite light tasting and lacking wok hei, though I've got to say the shiok chili they have here helped it a lot. You can also top up $5 for a Crayfish or $8 for a Flower Crab. Apart from White Bee Hoon, there's also the Red Bee Hoon for a spicier option.

The melted cheese makes for an excellent accompaniment to the Black Angus Ribeye. Throw in a side of truffle mustard, and you've got a match made in heaven

I feel like this is THE main to go for: ribeye served medium rare (of course) with earthy mushroom pate + puffed rice and a lovely sous vide hen's egg. The beef was elevated to a whole new level having been soaked in ponzu for 5 days; it was sweet and tender, with notes of citrus and truffle, delicate yet brimming with intense flavour. 😍

Many plans to eat pasta but, this was on the Daily Specials board. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It said for 2-3 but, there were just 2 of us and we had it as our main (though I imagine a very hungry person could clean this off easily). This platter included a very tasty 180g beef hangar, 160g crispy skinned pan fried barramundi, a roast beef sausage and 1/2 a spring chicken. These also came with sautéed veggies and a beautiful peppery mash. My faves were the barramundi (so well cooked with a little saltiness that I like with fish) and the beef hangar. Though it was slightly more done than I would have it, it was so nicely prepared and tasted great.

Such a nice quiet spot, decently priced menu and not crowded on a week night. I need to come back to try the beef fettuccine as originally planned though.
