Two Men Bagel House at Icon Village now does daily sweet bakes like this sugared donut stuffed with a rich chocolate filling. Which I gobbled down in two minutes flat.
Bakes change, well, daily! Treat yourself!

Stuffed to the brim with 2 types of ham (Black Forest + Honey Baked), Comte, Brie, Sweet Caramelized Onion Jam and Lemon Mayo. I went on and had them stuff additional slices of Avocados in there, all snug within their freshly baked Garlic Bagel. Those Garlic Bagels are amazing. Studded with garlic crispies on the top, and I’ll say, best consumed right there and then.
Also! It’s been awhile since I’ve visited this @twomenbagelhouse outlet within Icon Village, must say I’m really digging the loud music, vibes and their warm enthusiastic greetings from the team there.

The one consistent dish I go back to @bsksingapore for will be that gigantic succulent slab of Fish & Chips. That’s till I tasted their soulful bowl of spicy Corn Soup, complete with a Parmesan Churro on the side.
Now I have double the reason to head back there 🤤

One stall, endless varieties. You can have yours with lean sliced pork, pork ribs, pork inerts, even prawns whole or sliced.
Pair those ingredients with your favourite type of noodles, and finally, choice of having your bowl of noodles soup or dry. Their broth has a frontal sweetness of roasted prawn shells, depth of pork bones, no doubt long hours of brewing, but mostly definitely also plenty of MSG. Dry versions come tossed in a saucy sweet chilli mixture that almost has a tomato sambal feel to it.
Need more heat? Feel free to dump in the gunpowder chilli powder (usually available on the tables within the coffee shop).
Famous Lao Zhong Zhong Ngoh Hiang is also available for takeaway from the coffee shop just across the street!

One of the best scoop shops opened since Birds of Paradise. Truly up my alley. And @gelatolabo has got interesting creative flavours to boot.
Think Shiso Leaf & Yuzu Jelly; clean bright green flavours with swirls of sweet Yuzu. Not too sweet, perfect palate cleanser on a hot day.
Sakura Smoke Artichoke & Pear Compote; the Sakura got lost in transition but the gentle smokiness and desirable gummy texture definitely stands out from the usual play-it-safe flavours. Loved it! Will order again.
Easily, my favourite one of the lot has got to be their Colombian Cold Brew & Cookie Butter Bits. Strong frontal bitter coffee and pops of sweetness when you dig into the smashed biscuit parts of it. Snagged myself a pint home.

IO Italian Osteria
Just good ole Orecchiette tossed in a luscious saffron cream sauce and nuggets of pork sausage. Order the Fett’unta (Garlic Bread) to mop up the remaining saffron sauce in the plate; you can thank me later ☺️
This is our favourite pasta/pizza spot since the closure of Mozza Osteria. Any other recommendations for good pastas please pop them in the comments below!

My other must-order dish at Ding Tai Fung apart from their Xiao Long Baos (little soup dumplings).
This thickened soup with generous amounts of shredded pork, bamboo shoots, soft tofu and black fungus mushrooms, seasoned with black cracked pepper and plenty of spring onions. The Hot & Sour part can be adjusted to your preference with the chilli oil and black vinegar provided (usually available tableside but now served upon request due to the Pandemic).

Generous medley of berries including some juicy korean strawberries (seasonal I think), tangy raspberries, blackberry and glazed blueberries sit atop a luscious bed of vanilla pastry cream and a short crust tart shell. Delicately delectable. Best enjoyed with a hot pot of tea of your choosing and some chatter with your best buddies.
Although seating arrangements were a tad too squeezy to my liking, they definitely did comply with the safe distancing measure of 1-meter between each table. Scorching sun afternoons are best spent here!
