Fresh out of the oven, the roasted chicken thigh which had a lovely caramelized skin, was also great.Â

Put this Halal joint on your to-go list for hand-pulled la mian in Funan Mall. Order the Vinaigrette Ebiko Prawn Paste Noodle ($13.90), which sees bouncy ebiko prawn paste and a lava egg in a thick, tomato-based broth. For something lighter, the clear Braised Wagyu Beef Noodle ($13.90) with tender beef slices should fit the bill. Pro-tip: The la mian is on a softer side here, so request for it to be less done if you prefer your noodz chewy!

My go to pasta at The Assembly Ground. Its a savory dish with strong butterish taste. The other is a rosti benedict. It tasted good but felt a little overwhelming after a few mouthful.
Hmm, let's just say I'd be willing to pay more for something that tastes better.
Nice ambience and great food! The truffle mushroom udon was especially good
Find this hole-in-the-wall tea bar on Tan Quee Lan Street with beautifully minimalistic decor. They use special espresso machines to extract the tea, ensuring that each cup brims with distinct tea flavour and is paired expertly with a fruit. Order the refreshing Grape Oolong ($6.60) or go for the pleasingly bitter and complex Grapefruit Genmaicha ($5.80). Alternatively, follow Burppler Dex Neo's lead and opt for the Pear High Mountain Oolong ($6.30) that's just the right amount of sweet and fruity.

If you are looking for a place to relax & chill while enjoying some asian fusion dishes, you may want to drop by @dualcafe.sg which is conveniently located along Arab Street, within 10 mins walk from Bugis MRT Station. Between the two dishes, Tom Yum Seafood Pasta & Mirin Salmon Grain Bowl, I had a difficult time deciding which is my favourite main!
The Tom Yum Seafood Pasta was tasty & flavourful! Loving the pretty presentation of the dish as well! While the salmon grain bowl has the best option of having a combination of both salad & brown rice, allowing individuals to enjoy a healthy diet.

Not too heavy. Bratwursts is quite flavorful. Sauce is not quite enough though.
For this price, you get 6 clams and 3 grilled prawns (I thought they could have given more clams haha). They didn't have fusili pasta. The only choice was spaghetti (one of my much hated pasta choice lol). The spaghetti was kinda overcooked too. It was soft and slightly sticky like Chinese noodles. The laksa sauce was alright for me though. It wasn't overly jelat. Top up $1.9++ for free flow drinks or $3.9++ to add on a soup as well.

Adding to the cafe scene in the Lavender hood is this minimal, industrial-styled cafe that is a collab between 37 Waves and Thought Bakes. They offer your classic Black Coffee ($3.50), Strong White ($5) as well as a chocolate-y Mocha ($5.50). Pair your beverage with sweet treats like the Banana Bread ($2.50) or the Brownie ($2.00).
