One of their signatures. But tbh this is good everywhere.

Crayfish, clams, prawns. I've always been impressed by this dish. When you want chilli crab but not the crab.

Vegetables are healthy lol.

It's on their signboard so...

We are back at @yucuncurryfishhead ! Yu Cun Curry Fish Head is voted the BEST curry fish head in Singapore, and we agree!

Very meaty and fresh fish head that is drenched in flavourful rich and thick curry sauce! So good that I ate up my whole bowl of rice with the delicious curry sauce!

We also tried their other tzechar dishes:
-Marmite Chicken
-Beancurd with minced meat and vegetables
-Spinach

Fresh and tender fish head in thick and lemak curry loaded with ingredients like okra, beancurd skin, brinjal, long bean and tomatoes, served in a bubbling and piping hot claypot in cold and rainy weather. The fish head was very meaty and the not-too-spicy curry goes well with rice 》$34

One of the better curry fish head in Singapore.

Was looking for a place for a late dinner at 9pm, most shop in tai seng alreasy closed or already closing. Glad that Yu Cun was still open.

Curry was flavourful and filled with plenty of ingredients, beacurd skin, tau pok, long beans, brinjal etc.

The fish head was also meaty and fresh. The fish that is used here seems to be much larger than the usual places I eat my fish head at.

Just when I thought I finished, I overturn the fish to find another thick layer of meat under the ingredients.

Highly recommended.

It may look good but it's poor. Both veg and meat mediocre, portion small. For such a competent kitchen, you'd think it can handle this simple dish.

Nice tofu, nice radish, nice sauce. Everything was nice. But it's small.

I was sceptical when a friend ordered this. It's the typical "eat for fun". But walao it's freaking shiok. There's a crispy chicken cutlet within the crepe. With whatever sauce, probably mayo, how to resist?

So good! And much better than the menu implies. The meaty wings were fried very well first before completely dipped in honey and garlic. Comparable to the best Korean fried chicken.

Guess what, there's a separate dish for this typical ingredient for curry fish head. But order it! I don't usually like beancurd skin but this was awesome dipping in curry or snacking alone.

After discovering their curry vegetables previously if you want an alternative to their famous fish head, we tried a ytf spinoff. The curry was still the same great curry, while the homemade ytf was fine, but replacing a pot of vegetables with a few pieces of ytf meant the enjoyment dipped.

Speciality probably means Thai style, given the youtiao came with shredded mango and Thai chilli sauce. You can't go wrong with fish paste youtiao, although this dish was neither outstanding.

Think chilli crab, then replace the crab with assorted seafood. There were crayfish, prawns and clams. I must say among the more creative zichar joints, this place combines both creativity and satisfaction. The unusual dishes are actually attractive.

Regularly hit-and-miss dish, and a miss here. The sauce and execution were fine, but the morsels weren't unlike the everyday sweet & sour pork.

What if you can't afford or don't want fish head? You can still get this restaurant's signature curry with this dish! We're so impressed by our own genius. Anyway their curry was really very good and I salute. This had tau pok like the fish head version, but barely had cabbage. I'm confused.

Really wanted to try the curry fish head, but I was alone.

Decided to try something I could finish.

Assam sotong is flavourful, I emptied the entire bowl

The kangkong is good too, every bite is flavourful.

👍👍

I came with expectancy after reading raving online reviews about their curry fish head. The star is no doubt their signature dish. Love the consistency of the creamy curry which goes really well with rice. The normal spice level was pretty mild. Opt for the spicy option if you can take the heat. The fish is my fav part, very fresh! Love the variety of veggies that were cooked till they soaked in the curry broth.
.
Sadly, all the other zichar dishes pale in comparison with their signature dish. The portion seems smaller than the usual 小 of the other zichar stores. Parking may also be an issue in this area.
.
Still a good place to go to for their curry fish head! Recommended for large group and the friendly staff are available to celebrate bdays in haidilao style (think loud bday songs and neon board).

Ain’t nobody gonna wait for me to take a photo before digging in.
Back here for the third time and it still is a great pot of curry fish head!!
There’s 2 spicy levels to choose from, so if you’re not that great a spicy eater like me, no worries!

Prawn paste chicken 👍🏼
Mantou 👍🏼
Red beancurd fried pork 👎🏼
Honey passion fruit drink 👎🏼

🤤🤤🤤
