I went around 12.30 on Saturday and there was a queue it was almost sold out. I wanted to order to buy the medium portion but unfortunately there was only small portion left. Apparently the small size was quite fulfilling, and we also got some bonus from the chef. He gave us one ajitama, three wontons and two potato-wrapped shrimp! The chasiu melted easily in my mouth, and the wonton was also very delicious.

Ordered the small portion of ramen. It is good. The price is $8. Usually there is a long queue in front of this stall. To avoid the queue, it is recommended to be there before the stall is opened.

For this price, I would say its super value for money because they really don't skimp on their ingredients. Despite going for just the small bowl, the portion was actually filling enough.

The noodles were super thin kind, yet had a nice bite to them, but otherwise rather ordinary (like any other wanton meeπŸ˜…) and nothing special.

The winning factor of the dish for me lay in the quality of the ingredients used, for which i can fathom the hype over this stall. The shrimp wontons were fat and juicy with thin and silky smooth wonton skin, and the ramen egg perfectly flavoured. I loved the fried potato prawn too 😍 And the slices of char siu?? So thick with nice meat-fat ratio, and even the fats i usually detest were melt in your mouth good...

Delicious bowl of wanton mee in a ramen style, all in the nostalgic setting of Amoy Street Food Centre. Worth a try!

Interesting bowl of noodles from noodle story. Somewhat like wanton noodle but not entirely. Tasted really nice with that japanese egg.

Wanton mee 2.0 is this fish of lovely firm thin egg noodles topped with generous and tender pork belly, big shrimp dumplings, a perfectly cooked egg and fixins. $9 but worth every cent
