Seeing so many people go for this build your own plate choice, I also decided to go for it also.

I totally agree with many people that their croissants was great, paired well with their scramble egg.

The croissant comes along with jam and butter.

Simple brunch food done well ☺️

Second time back at Baker’s Bench and I simply love the bakes here. First time trying the sourdough croissant which did not disappoint! Was super flaky, like no kidding, when I sank my fork and knife in, flakes just came flying my way HAHA. The scrambled eggs were pretty good too in terms of creaminess, though I felt maybe a sprinkle of salt would have made it even tastier. The side serving of jam was good for an occasional switch in taste to something sweet and it was pretty good jam too anyway.

A nice ratio of coffee to milk. I enjoyed this very much!

($17) Like how you can customise your own bowl but think that the price is a little steep. Sausage was yummy and eggs and mushrooms can rarely go wrong. Sourdough croissant is flaky, but the layering of the croissant definitely has room for improvement. Coffee was a little acidic. I would say will revisit for the pastries, then walk over to Nylon for some amazing coffee.

If there's one thing you should try, it's their sourdough croissant. I have returned more than once just for this pastry.

Preferred if it was served warm. Bun could do with more gooey cinnamon filling inside as it felt a little plain/dry. The best part was the candied nuts on top, but i wouldn't order this again. (Prefer the fluffy cinnamon bun from nearby Bread & Hearth)

Coffee was good as usual.

Small place that isn't ideal for long catch-ups as they would ask you (politely) to leave.
