Not too thick, to the point where it’s too soft and tastes like flour, and not too thin, where it becomes too crispy. A little more acidity would have been great i.e. perhaps a more mature kimchi. Sauce had a great balance of vinegar and soy sauce, scented well with sesame oil.
Sweet flavourful broth that can't go wrong with soft tofu and large prawns. Many side dishes served along with the mains that were all done right.
Battled against the Bibimbap for this and glad that I made the choice; the Bibimbap was good, but I definitely felt more satisfied with this. Pork was well marinated with sweet and spicy Gochujang marinade, but would have been really perfect if they could up the spiciness a notch. Still a comforting dish to have especially on a cold day!
😘 Glorious, laughter-filled dinner with former colleagues. We had a table full of food, yet they allowed me to indulge and order THIS on top of everything, just because I had never had this before! ❤️ 'Seoul' yummy! 😋
