Cheeky faces and uncomplicated recipe, the new name serves up delightful scrumptious and hearty meals made of good ingredients at inexpensive price range. Its quiet atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to refuel and recharge. Some of the dishes we tried:

Umami Pork Burger ($15) 😻
Favourite out of the bunch! Housemade pork patty topped with kombu mayo and paired with diced green apple slaw and hand cut fries. Will be my go-to order next time I’m here again.

Kaya Pancakes ($15)
Made in-house, the kaya sauce adds richness and sweetness to the fluffy pancake, stacked alongside a medley of fresh berries and jam.

Cheeky Breakfast Club ($22)👍🏻
Wholesome breakfast platter that includes fluffy scrambled eggs, balsamic roasted mushrooms, honey confit cherry tomatoes, spinach, and one of the thickest cuts of bacon ever.

Coffee Spritz ($6)
Totally out of this world refreshing, this citrusy spritz is a rousing blend of cold brew and fizzy lemonade, comes topped with real lemon peel to bring out that coffee aroma.

[MEDIA] Thanks to the use of tomatoes, Cheeky’s Smashed Avocado Toast [$18] yields a more citrusy note. The texture is also more similar to egg mayonnaise, as the avocado bits are larger. Something for more adventurous brunch goers.

[MEDIA] Curiously, I couldn’t find any trace of chilli crab meat, although the briny and spicy notes did cut through the richness of the silky smooth scrambled eggs. Best shared between three people as this is a really generous portion.

Cheeky’s chef has done months of R&D and sourcing suppliers for the correct ingredients for every dish before presenting them on the menu and we’re obsessed. From the thick cut bacon on their Breakfast Club to the sourdough that’s fluffy and good enough to eat on its own. Not to mention, robust flavours and generous crab meat found in the Chili Crab Scramble. We can see that they care about what is put on the plate. Can we ALSO say, the Coffee Spritz is out of this world. Quoting the mastermind, it’s literally ‘nothing like you’ve tasted before’ 😂

I think this place will make my girlfriend jealous. It’s hard to keep my eyes of the delicious avocado bowl, I don’t know if this place is suitable for dates anymore. But I am willing to be alone with this bowl of delicious avocado.

Added an extra patty ($2++) in to my burger and it was yums! One of the more affordable and delicious burger I’ve had in a cafe for a while. The chicken nibblets paired with seared mayo was good as well, a lot for the amount we paid for! My healthy bowl ($14++) which contained cauliflower rice and hummus, topped with sousvide chicken was good too but the bowl was abit tiny and chicken was tougher than my liking. Would come back though, coffee was good.

Sad that it was rather empty on a Saturday brunch, a little too underrated!
