We were at D'bun earlier this morning and had more variety of items to choose from. Instead of getting their paus (which was good), we tried their egg tarts ($1.80 a piece) this time round! The crust was flaky but it wasn't the buttery kind! But it still made a good egg tart (we had the mango pudding and guilinggao to go along as well - $1.80/cup)

Highly recommended with a total of ⭐️⭐️⭐️ by @foodkingnoc, I knew I had to try it for myself. And boy, was I pretty impressed by it.

Bringing a twist into the usual braised pork rice, the truffle taste wasn’t exactly robust but surprisingly helped to elevate the overall flavour of the dish. Each piece of braised pork belly also had a visually appealing ratio of meat to fat, just the way I like it to be. However, I wished the egg was more deeply marinated with the braising sauce.

Love the tofu! Crispy exterior with soft interior

Expensive for such a small cup but it’s refreshing and sweetness is just right

Lotus, red bean with one salted egg yolk. Love the sweet and savoury combination!
