Harissa Chicken Burger

No more condiments by the side lol and the chicken was slightly dry. Decent but not impressive, however I was surprised by the complexity of the yoghurt sauce. Not too spicy actl even without the sauce

Harissa Chicken Burger ($20)
.
2 thick slabs of chargrilled chicken patty served with pickled onions sandwiched between a soft toasted brioche bun. Also loved the accompanying selection of 3 condiments which included jalapeño salsa, tomato chutney and Thai hot sauce! It's great how @corianderleafgrill does an asian spins on western grub💕!

Sister to Coriander Leaf restaurant (currently at CHIJMES), this new entrant to the Ann Siang circuit offers Asian-inspired grills in a relaxed (but still chic) setting — great if you're looking for a new spot to line your tummy at before hitting the bars. For first-timers here, keep it safe and simple with the Harissa Chicken Burger ($20): tender and smoky tikka-style chicken thigh served on toasted brioche buns. Have fun slathering on the five yummy homemade condiments that are served on the side — options include jalapeno salsa, tomato chutney and Thai hot sauce. Other options incude charcoal-grilled meats like Spiced Lamb Sausage ($23), Rib Eye with Wakame-Koji Butter ($39) and Cobia Kingfish ($24). Sides (from $6) are ordered separately; just take heed from Burppler Dex Neo's experience and avoid the mushy charred broccoli.

It's #BurppleBurgerMonth and we're throwing a BURGER PARTAY at Three Buns for you and nine friends (if you win 😝). It's simple, just post a burger review on Burpple (or dig up an old one), share that post on IG with the hashtag #BurppleBurgerMonth and tag nine friends to enter! 🎉

So we checked out this new spot along Ann Siang and had this sexy little burger. Smokey and spicy, the chicken thigh patty was like really tender chicken tikka. There's also five different condiments on the side for you to slather all over your burger, so I went a little crazy with the tomato chutney and Thai hot sauce. Just avoid ordering the mushy charred broccoli like we did. 😝

The pear tart was served on a chipped ceramic plate and a broken piece of ceramic was found in the whipped cream

While the toasted brioche was as pedestrian as a trolley-wielding Ah Ma at Ghim Moh Market (which, thankfully, was a problem easily addressable with the myriad of homemade condiments available such as their tomato chutney, sriracha sauce and jalapeño salsa), the chicken tikka-esque meat made for happy bedfellows with the sassy and irrepressible harissa, which was seedy, yogurt creamy, viciously spicy and lime-tangy all at once. 3.9/5
