🍔 Sloppy Joe: The name of this burger really made me drool but when it arrived, I was a bit disappointed. The burger had like a tomatoey sauce inside and pieces of ham and onion. Which didn’t seem sloppy to me at all. I’m looking at it wondering “yo, where’s my patty?” ⭐️5/10
.
🍟 Commando Fries (RM30): This was abit decent looking than the burger. There’s BBQ beef brisket beneath the fries (the best part of this dish). I would recommend dotty’s to give a light torch on the top layer of the cheese, that would really make a yummy difference. Would I order this again? No ⭐️6/10
.
🧀Burnt Cheesecake: It was cute, small, and there was a layer of caramel biscoff in the cheesecake. It was a bit hard, not the typical burnt cheesecake I’d go far which is creamy and all that. But nonetheless it was a good normal cheesecake, but not the best representative for a burnt cheesecake cause I’ve tasted better ⭐️6/10
.
🍰 Pistachio Cheese Cake: I’m not a big fan of pistachio at all in this case (didn’t choose this cake) so I don’t have much to say about it
.
I think this place serves great food and have great ambience (for celebrations, bachelorettes party, birthdays and family gatherings) but the menus is abit of a hit or miss

Being a sucker for anything salted egg, I decided to try the much talked about salted egg cronut. It’s topped and filled with salted egg sauce which can be a bit heavy if not eaten on an empty stomach. The salted egg sauce is on the sweeter side as it’s meant to be eaten as a dessert.
Recently they have a pop-up store opened in Nu Sentral and I went to check it out. They are only opened as a popup for 1month (until 5th December 2019)😋 Today I joined their 11.11 deal and got a free mystery pastry. Swipe till the end to see what the mystery pastry is hehehe 👉🏻
.
🥐 Salted Egg Cronut (RM14): Super huge and the salted egg is rich. Definitely requires sharing. They are sure very generous with their salted egg sauce (filled between the pastries and on the top too!) If you love salted egg flavours, you are sure to enjoy this. I might be bias as I’m not a big fan of salted egg ⭐️7/10
.
🧀Cheese Doughnut (RM8): This caught my eye the first time I saw it. Its glazed with cream cheese and topped with more grated cheese. Super soft, creamy, cheesy. It just might be my favourite. Oh its also quite big 😂 ⭐️8.5/10

Other: Charcoal & Red Velvet Croissants (RM10), Nutella Pods (RM4), Chocolate Peanut Butter Doughnut (RM9)

Such a blue cake! First thing that strike my mind.
I got to say that this cake was rather disappointing. The cake was kind of hard, not moist. Could be not fresh. It was the last slice though. Other than that, the cake wasn’t overly sweet, which was good.
This is RM17.
Here on a weekday after meeting and as usual this place is alway crowded. People are crazy over all sorts of patisserie especially their salted egg cronut which ran out when I arrived. Ordered the sinful Onde-Onde Pandan Cronut that topped with soft serve and coconut flakes.. The flaky pastry was so good but the ice cream is a bit tad sweet for my liking. Overall was quite good. Nicely price at RM11 per serving.
This sandwich is hella rich. With the perfect ratio of bread to filing ratio this sandwich has a delicately crispy crunch that quickly gives way to tenderness. Topped with a gooey egg , drenched in a silky creamy sauce for that extra 'goo factor'.
These cakes are very moreish. Every mouthful is packed with a strong aroma of banana in them. They are dense, moist and superbly rich. The cakes are splashed with a healthy dose of yogurt to balance out the sweetness from the cake, garnished with kuachi melon seeds for texture and topped with some fresh juicy berries and more banana.
Thank you @nazacorporationholdings for inviting me and my friends over to taste @mydottys new menu. All 4 options looks irresistible. It was too difficult to make a choice so we handed that responsibility to Dotty. We were served menu B and I love every single item in them. Someone call the ambulance please! I have no self control! Too full but still stuffing my face with more pastries.
Best of the best at Dotty's. I've never had this before throughout my whole life and am pretty sure it's hard finding it anywhere else. However it was toooo sweet and u might need something savoury to complement this otherwise u might get sugar rush lol:
Food is good and much larger portion than I had expected for RM22, an average price you would get in cafes like this. However, a better knife would create a better food experience I had there.
Decided to succumb into peer pressure and got a plate of this red velvet croissant, and it felt normal. Nothing much to shout about, just that it was red, with cream cheese inside. But that's about it. I wonder what's the hype.. 🤔
Must try their tiramisu latte and the best seller pastries donut ☕️🍩
Superb marvelously delicious salted egg yolk cronut! Cronut is the combination of croissant and doughnut. This masterpiece from Dotty's is so good that I feel like dancing when I had the 1st bite. The overflowing lava and crunchy flaky base. Oops, I'm feeling hungry again...
While their claim to fame is an elusive Salted Egg Yolk Cronut (RM11) that sells out incredibly early, Dotty's has a lot more to offer. Try the Strawberry Cheesetart (RM10) in which strawberries lend their refreshing tanginess to the cream cheese filling. This upscale bakery and cafe imports all their tableware so anytime you need an inspiring backdrop (or an Instagram-worthy table shot), drop in with a friend or the spouse for morning treats on fancy plates! If you're more keen on savouries, save this spot for the weekend special — a monstrously delicious Soft Shell Crab Burger (RM32).
Avg Price: RM25
Salted egg yolk custard cronut by Dotty's. For RM11, you not only get a decent size cronut topped with salted egg yolk custard, you get more, yes MORE, custard in between the deep fried buttery layers of puff pastry!! It's salted egg yolk custard, what could go wrong?? Take not that they have serve their cronuts according to their scheduled batch due to the constant high demand, so either be mentally prepared to wait for a long time or time your visit there beforehand! Oh my little deep fried bundle of joy, I'll see you soon.
Was a lovely tart, very refreshing with the strawberries and custard. Highly recommended places for pastry lovers.
Dotty's, restaurant that famous for their Salted Egg Yolk pastry, also serve other dishes that not related with the Salted Egg Yolk. Looking for something different on their menu and find their Scotch Egg (RM 26) is quiet interesting. It comes like a rocket of sweet potato on the bottom, baked bread and the scotch egg itself on top. The picture above is after I "destroyed" that scotch egg. It's an almost hard boiled egg that wrapped in a meat. I have no problem with the egg and sweet potato fries, but the baked bread kinda dissatisfied. But, overall, it's a one fulfilling meal.
Salted Egg Yolk Cronut was way too oily, but the Strawberry Cheesetart was refreshing and tasty. Customer service was good, the staffs acted really quick so that's definitely a plus point.
I had this yesterday it was so good. Either that, or I was hungry. Or I am just bias towards soft shell crab (probably, definitely this).
My cousins had the poached eggs with soft shell crab, also good. Yeah, probably bias about soft shell crab. It had the whole coleslaw thingamajig kind of taste to it, which I usually hate, but was fine with this one. The long queue was worth it 😅 we also had the speculoos thing, which tasted like peanut butter eclairs. We also had raspberry pavlova, which looked like a raspberry whoopie pie. Loved it all, would come back for the strawberry tart.
