Booked through eatigo so we have a 20% discount. Pricey cafe price at $22, ambiance was good and food was not too, bad. Prolly wouldn't buy the full works again, but will go again.

For any museum goer, you’d notice FFT tucked away in the corner of National Museum, where whiffs of coffee & food will carry you right to their doorstep.

The usual suspects of brunch is available, but there’s also a variety of mains & pastas.

For affordable dishes that can’t really go wrong, I went for the spicy pulled pork linguine. Stressed pieces of pulled pork were tossed in aglio olio styled linguine, topped with cherry tomatoes, a bacon slice & a sunny side up.

Huat ah! The Basic Works came with creamy scrambled eggs and crispy bacon on buttery brioche. Added garlic mushrooms for a more balanced meal. #happybelly #fatdieme #burpple (S$9+S$4)

Spicy pulled pork linguine with cherry tomatoes, bacon and sunny egg. Dined here for Christmas in advance with my poly friends. Nice ambience & customer service, good place for groups, they have large tables! (So we don’t have to split tables). Spiciness if pulled pork is reasonable & overall a good dish. Will come back for this.

The soft shell chilli crab linguine ($23) was yummy, it’s slightly sweet and slightly spicy with bits of crab meat in it. The soft shell crab was crispy as well!

After a walk through the exhibits at the National Museum, stopped by Food for Thought for teatime.

Their Mixed Berries Cream Cheese Pancakes with Walnuts and Gula Melaka was visually appealing but didn't deliver on taste. Pancakes were too dense and had gritty texture, and the gula melaka sauce just didn't taste quite right.
