I think it's on promotion or something, this is one of the winner! It arrive warm on our table so it's crispy and yet soft! We love this sooo much!

The waiter/waitress seems a bit lost they could freeze suddenly. But other than that the place, ambience, and service is great

Unfortubately this is also the same case in which we got the hard meat, BUT the ribs is soooo soft! It's soft and tender, it's the only piece we actually love from 2 menus.

You tiao ($2.5)
It's nice crispy and delicious! It's a bit hard and chunky but not a problem for me since I dipped it into my soup

The only good thing about this is actually just the soup. The soup is delicious. The meat on the other side is sooooo hard. I need A LOT of effort just to pick the meat with my chopsticks, biting it down is the only way and it's not that easy eaither! Maybe because we were eating at night so we got the new batch of hard meat or something

Great broth with good dose of pepper and garlic. Many BKT places seem to be cutting back on pepper and garlic for some reason (to attract more tourists? Or cost cutting measures?)

Anyway, the "Popularity" version ironically has some of the less popular or typical BKT parts - no prime, short or spare ribs - its probably the unwanted portions of the ribs. Nonetheless, the meat is still good enough.

Still deciding if I prefer Founder's or Ya Hua. Both offer very compelling Ba Kut Tehs.

Great broth, and decent serving of kidneys, liver, intestines, stomach and lean meat. The kidneys and liver were a tad overcooked (we should have asked them to slightly undercook those parts 😅).
