Used burpple beyond 1-for-1 so quite worth it. Topped up $2 for the truffle sea salt which went well with the steak. Steak itself was okay, it has no whisky taste at all. Ordered medium rare doneness but my steak was mostly medium. Overall 3.5/5 for steak.
Also ordered the Sweet Potato Fries with Rum Mayo ($10). The mayo really has slight rum taste, goes really well with the fries. Super good!!! 5/5 for the fries.

Ordered quite a few other dishes along with my mains. The place was nice and cozy and the food was not too bad. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Other than the slightly longer waiting time for the food, a great place to chill
Homeground definitely lives up to the many glowing reviews! They recommend their whiskey ribeye ($26+) - the charcoal grill makes for a delightful char whilst retaining its juices. It was also cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested, which certainly earns a few extra points! The 200g portion is a real steal for its price. We added black truffle salt ($2+) - the truffle is a brilliant burst of flavour and adds a new dimension, but the red wine reduction and sea salt provided is more than sufficient! A really enjoyable meal - looking forward to a return visit 🥳
Got the marinated in whisky rib eye. Ordered 2 medium rare, most parts were medium only few parts medium rare. Overall, it was pleasant and tender. Very little strands of tendon. Worth it for affordable price range! Salad was meh but salt and sauce was good.

Fried Pork Belly In Spicy Mayo Sauce. The Pork Belly was good for sharing with 2-3 pax as a side. Mayo sauce not spicy but good dipping addition to the pork. 10$ for the pork (will not be able to use 1-1 for this)
