Their succulent poached chicken stood out most for me. Whether if this is the best Chicken Rice in 🇸🇬? Probably not, but it’s definitely above average and worth trying!😬👍

📍Hua Kee Chicken Rice

This stall has maintained its standard even the son has taken over to help. Though it sells only white chicken the queue is never ending till sold out. Meat is succulent and tasty while rice is fragrant and yummy. Must queue to know why the queue never end.
Hua Kee is one of the many famous stalls at Redhill market. Many foodies consider them to be one of the best Chicken rice in Singapore. I arrived at 11am and there was queue of 10 people waiting in line. It took me about 30mins before I could place my order. Hua Kee opens at 9.30am so you technically can eat chicken rice for breakfast if you come early enough. The chicken here is poached to perfection, the meat was juicy and tender.!The rice itself was fragrant and fluffy too. A great combination with their Chilli sauce. This is indeed a very good plate of chicken rice and I can see why many people are raving about it. I would definitely love to come back again!
The chicken here is chopped in large chunks with skin and bone still attached to ensure the meat retains its natural juices and flavours. We liked that the chicken was tender, juicy and full of flavours.

It's taste is not very 重口味(strong taste) but who needs that when you can tell that the chicken is of good quality.. It's kind of like who needs the sauce when the meat is already good?.. 8/10👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Beware of long queues!
This place believes in not smashing their chicken so each slice is really thick yet succulent. Very different I reckon! Very "clean" tasting - not the usual oily stodgy chicken rice, but I suspect they load up on aromatics to make up for the lack of oil/fat. Oh, the queue...😖
