feels like this is the thais’ way of mocking us. but good thai food here anyway! I chanced upon this place like 4 years ago and it still lives up to the good impression I have of them. this is also in siam square, so you can eat here if there is a long queue at som tam nua. also order their fried chicken skin in the second picture. very unhealthy but very good!
Ehhh I don’t enjoy at all.. maybe because we went near their closing hour. Food were oily and abit cold. Maybe I didn’t order their specialty.. I only like the grilled pork neck. But all these dishes only cost 550baht ($23sgd) For 3 pax! #bangkok
The tomyum kung serving is generous and flavourful, the Grandma Fried Rice is an interesting cross between fried rice and fried dark carrot cake. Every dish we had was on point! A good place to dine at in the Siam area, opposite the famous After You Cafe.
Nothing fanciful in this restaurant's interior design, just simple and humbly looking. But this restaurant whips up delicious and authentic Thai dishes at very affordable price.
I went during the lunch time and it was pretty crowded, mostly locals. I know I'm in the right place as people say "dine where the locals dine". Everything in this photo were wiped out; all tasted so good and authentic.

Their clear Tom Yum Soup is the best out of all the restaurants that we have tried! Definitely a must order.

We started with the chicke wing. Don't be deceived by the presentation, this is so good. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the itself. Very well seasoned and addictive 🤭.

Fried rice has good wok hei and you can clearly taste each and every single grain as you eat.

Omelette (KaJiao) was okay but could be more fluffy.

Overall the damage was around 800baht for 4 or SGD36.
