Made with seven ingredients from Kesennuma Shishiori, they are: salmon, egg roll, cucumber, carrot, eel, salad and scallop mayonnaise.
Traditionally, eho maki is eaten on Setsubun, the month of Chinese New Year. It must contain seven ingredients as the number seven relates with the Seven Deities of Good Fortune called Shichifukujin. Seven fillings are traditionally rolled in, representing good health, happiness, and prosperity, and rolling the fillings means rolling in good fortune.
Eho maki - 1 for $8.80 or 3 for $23.80
Shikai maki - 1 for $8.80
Hoso maki - 1 for $3.80
📍Takashimaya Chinese New Year Fair
Date: 29 January 2018 - 13 February 2018
Time: 10AM - 10PM
Venue: Takashimaya Basement 2
(Near Cold Storage) Booth: IPPIN

Would you believe it if I told you that these delicious seafood dishes are all made from canned or pre-packaged productsfrom Japan?
The pre-packaged seafood used have no added preservatives or additives and come directly from Kesennuma Shishiori, Japan's famous fish port so it is only 2nd fresh compared to if you are dining personally at the fish port!
Fishermen here have a deep respect for the ocean, catching fishes from the nearby Sanriku waters using only sustainable fishing methods so we can enjoy fresh seafood while maintaining a healthy ocean for the earth.
These sustainable seafood are available at @ippincafebar from 3 Apr 2017 for a limited time only so hurry if you want to try these! Home-cooks can also purchase the 0pre-packaged foods to make your own Japanese dishes at home! 🇯🇵 Where to find this?

One of the highlights I enjoyed the most. Rich creamy & custard-smooth addiction, with a distinct lingering elegant flavour from freshly brewed Houjicha tea leaves. Another thumbs up to the fact that it's low on caffeine & safe for mommies & babies.
✨Refer to my Ikura Don post to learn how to win round trip tickets to Japan 🇯🇵

Featured above we have the new Shishiori Ikura Don ($43 Nett/Set) from #IPPINCafeBar! Also comes with miso soup, side salad & Premium Houjicha Pudding for dessert. Stay tuned for individual review!
Thanks Hazel, @IPPINCafeBar, @BloomPR.SG & team for the warm hospitality! It was a relaxing evening with the sake & all the good treats!
