It is enormous! Flavour is on point, with the pepper seasoning that gives you a nice spicy kick!

It has every ingredient that I would love to have on my dessert... but when everything is put together it turned out to be "mehhh"... Can hardly taste any caramel... And the body of the cheesecake is not cheesy enough to be called a cheesecake.

When you’re indecisive of getting what to eat. I love this neighbourhood cafΓ© that serve amazing pastries. Highly recommended the spinach & goat cheese tart. Fluffy puff pastry topped with creamy chopped spinach and goat cheese. Rm15 per slice.

Strudels are a traditional Austrian pastry made from flaky pastry, which can be served sweet when filled with fruit and sweetened cream, or savoury.

The peach strudel at Kenny Hills Bakers were quite sizeable, with peaches and a sweetened Chantilly cream as its base. The cream wasn't overtly sweet, with extra crispy and flaky pastry giving it a nice firm texture. This dessert alone is worth the visit.

I love pastries so much I really do. As I was choosing which one to get for the day, this lady came over and interrupted my thoughts. She started suggesting what I should get based on what she usually orders. Mind you, she's not a complete stranger to me as I've seen her before the previous time I was there. I recognised her because I remembered she went home with boxes of pastries, thinking she must be having some sort of party.

She did the same when she came and talked to me. Party, party. She recommended all the different types of things I should try, along with the main ones (pizza and sandwiches).

I ended up with this key lime pie as she mentioned that it was her favourite (she said she will pay for it if I didn't like it). Of course I loved it. At RM10, I thought it was a pretty reasonable price.

The base of the tart was a tad bit too hard though, maybe from all the chilling earlier (it was an hour before closing, so go figure). The taste of the lime was so strong though it blended well with the cream (?), so it wasn't very sour.

It was a good choice. I want to come back and try the other tarts. So tempted to do it today.. yes, this trip was yesterday.

Sorry for my absence (if it was noticed)! Stopped by Kenny Hill's Bakers artisan bakery the other day and this is their almond croissant.
They have the flufffiest-flaky almond croissant ever! Even the filling was not overly sweet. I have to give the trophy to them instead of Huckleberry.
Love how they heat it up for you before serving. Kudos to warm delicious croissants!
Food: 8/10 Price: 6/10 (Just very expensive organic prices)

If you're a pastry-lover, the sight and smell of this bakery might just take you to heaven and back. Kenny Hills has taken on a serious repetoire of bakes β€” from bagels and breads to tarts, scones, quiches, pies and pastries. They have, arguably, the best croissant in town (RM6), especially when they're warmed. Also grab some of their to-die-for peanut butter to take home!

Second visit, overall wasn't too bad plus they reheat the viennoiseries.

Bagels, Croissants, Quiche, Scones you say it all. Kenny Hills Baker specialised in pastry and Everything is fresh and yummy πŸ‘ loving the croissant the most. Seats might be limited here.

The place that serve the best croissant in my opinion is still ..... .

Grilled chicken and avocado sandwich with salsa. Eggs Falmenco.
Another happy croissant customer due to its flakey-ness and buttery flavour. But I didn't know it was a croissant sandwich (didn't read the menu properly) but I would've switched it to whole grain or sourdough for a healthier meal. Avocados and some juicy tender chicken is always a win though. Love how generous they are with the avocados! I think there was about half a 'cado in there. Explains the price!
Eggs flamenco is another style of baked eggs. Cheese-less, and with gorbanzo beans/chickpeas. Really nice savoury dish to dip your whole grain soldiers in the delicious flowy yolk-porn.
Food: 8/10 Price: 6/10 (RM 18 for sandwich; RM 21!!! For eggs. Mannn my whole bill came up to RM 54 for these few items including a croissant and long black. Thank god there's free table water to save some cash)
PS. Will definitely come back for croissants during tea! Very limited seating inside. Very humid and hot on bad days outside. They should invest in fans! #FWP?
