First time there for a birthday celebration. Food was awesome, especially the steak and fries. Also tried their special - Mussels and it did not disappoint. Very generous portion. A good pick for birthday celebrations!

Soufflé was impressively hefty with a whimsical jiggle, and an absolute gastronomical delight.

Exterior was beautiful golden and crisp, easily giving way to reveal airy mousse inside. A good scoop would yield coconut praline, complementing the light soufflé with robust nutty indulgence.

The macadamia ice cream on the side made for an amazing pairing through its rich and creamy taste, with coldness that contrasted against the warm soufflé.

For $48++, you get this entire 500g wheel of spectacular French milk cheese, oven baked with your choice of sautéed onions and bacon/wild mushrooms/white wine, then served with either bread or steamed potatoes. Maaaan if you like all things creamy, rich, and goopy like I do, you’d love this to bits. The only problem you could possibly face with this, is that once you pull a warm one out of the oven and start eating it, it’s impossible to stop.

Classic vanilla and caramel custard - this was simple and great. The custard was so smooth and light, it felt as if it was floating through my mouth with every bite. This was the dessert we ordered as part of the lunch set, and when we were eyeing the neighbouring tables, the raspberry vanilla choux puff looked stunning too. We will be back!

Profiteroles - homemade choux bun filled with vanilla ice cream, drenched with warm chocolate sauce and crispy almond flakes. These were probably the best profiteroles I’ve ever had! The choux puffs were delightfully light and crisp, the chocolate sauce was rich but not too cloying... I could go on and on. Bottom line is, this bistro is amazing.
