The serving of roast chicken was extremely generous that was a really pleasant surprise. It was well-marinated and cooked just right as well, achieving the sought-after crispy skin. The pairing with seasoned quinoa and hanjuku egg was just perfect.

Le Coq is hands-down my favourite restaurant on Burpple Beyond and I was thrilled when they offered 1-for-1 takeaways. I managed to place my order ahead via WhatsApp and they were nice enough to send me a text to update me when my order was about to be ready.

As usual, the mentaiko mayo was delicious and generous, and the onsen egg was perfect.

A friend (who’s also on burpple) recommended this place to me so I decided to give it a shot!

Ordered the salmon mentai don because I had mad cravings for salmon sashimi and mentaiko...I’ve to say my cravings were thoroughly satisfied 🙂

Plus they serve their donburis in generous portions too! (As compared to their noodle dishes) 🍚

Got to know about LECOQ through Burpple Beyond and have been coming back ever since! They’ve a huge variety, but we always can’t resist their mains that have sashimi, as they are always fresh and of good quality. We got these at 1 for 1, but they also have very value lunch sets available. Can’t wait to return to dine in!

Well seasoned beef and chirashi bits. Was pleasantly surprised as i thought this was more of a bar and they would pay less attention to their food quality.

Enjoyed this dish a lot! Char siew had enough “char” and the rice was soft like the Japanese rice. I really liked the chicken rice garlic chilli that the restaurant provided at the side too. Service and ambience were both decent. Perhaps one of the better, if not best, char siew rice I’ve had in SG.
