Using alternative grains like quinoa, this was a healthier and delicious option compared to the usual chicken rice. It’s no less flavourful as well and chicken remains tender

A little pricy for an everyday CBD lunch option but definitely worth your buck if you’d like to treat yourself, this bowl is loaded with salmon cubes dripping with aburi-ed mentaiko sauce and tobiko. The onsen egg also helps justify what you’re paying for.

10.9++ portion available too but why would u do that to yourself ><

Pork was soft and charred, but i felt it had too much of a "restaurant quality" to it, aka playing it too safe. Maybe because of the crowd here, but i like my Char siew to be absolutely sinful and super Burnt lol. Cant say it's a bad dish for sure, but lacks that eye-opening moment compared to the roast Chicken. Guess refinement is really a Double edged sword, wont always come out better necessarily

I Gotta say, somehow the ingredients came tgt to produce a mixture that was better than expected. Not v healthy but i Gotta agree it's not bad at all. Thanks jason for the rec!

Always something exciting on Le Coq’s menu, and this Beef Crispy Rice just hit all the right spots! A layer of fried rice on a sizzling hot plate, leave it for a moment to get a nice char before scrapping it off (claypot chicken fans will love this). Top it off with a tasty, medium rare steak and this makes for an extremely satisfying meal.

The restaurant insists on using only fresh chicken and this clearly is the x-factor for me as the succulent and tender meat with the crispy skin is the winner for me. Served with an onset egg, this chicken rice dish is not your average run-off-the-mill version but a premiumized one that actually works. Besides this main, Le Coq will also be launching new dishes such as the Beef Crispy Rice ($28) and Ribs & Rice ($18) that will cater to a wider audience.
