Been a favourite with my family since it opened! Love the oolong lavender flavour a lot and I find neither element overpowering or pungent, so I’ve never understood why the staff would encourage folks to try first. Amazing value for its price point – look at the generous scoop size! – though I’ve had better waffles. Still, could rave all day about the ice cream and I’m so happy to know they’ve expanded!

I have to say the lighting sucks for photos but gives you chill vibes. It's a hard consideration.
.
[Speculoos]
It's sweet and not usually my first choice but there's depth in flavour and I wanted the biscuit flavour in my ice cream as well. One of my favourite choices.
.
[Roasted Pistachio]
It's so nutty in terms of texture, something different from the usual creamy pistachio and I like that difference in texture.
.
[Waffle]
Crispy and chewy, there's a reason why they take so long to serve the waffle. Made to perfection.
.
[Tater Tots]
Not in photo, one of my favourite to go just for something to counter the sweetness.
.
I love the depth of all their flavours, nothing artificial.

Finally trying out this immensely popular ice cream cafe in Hougang! We had 2 scoops of ice cream with waffles for $11.80, which I find it to be pretty affordable considering the ice cream cafes in Singapore. The waffles, though crispy and airy, lacked a buttery flavourful that I wish was more prominent! But it was alright with the ice cream. The ice cream flavours we got were Lychee Rose and Hazelnut Truffle which were delightful!

The Lychee Rose came surprisingly as a sorbet, and we were glad it was. It was such a refreshing flavour, with both Lychee and Rose flavours complementing each other so well. Really aromatic. We loved it so much that we almost wanted to get another scoop!

The Hazelnut Truffle was thick, rich and had strong nutty flavours. Wished that there were more truffle pieces within, as the chocolate really paired the ice cream well.

Definitely will be back for the Lychee Rose!

Food Reviews (my friend)
Overall presentation is meh, however, the dark chocolate is very creamy and rich. The dark chocolate is the flavour to go for, but it empowers the rest of the other flavours. Couldn’t comment much on the other flavours as a result. For the waffles, it’s meh. Nothing special.

Food Review (me)
So I wanted to write for own food review but I was busy for past 2 weekends but I decided to write some of my food reviews since yesterday 😅. I ordered honeybomb and my personal opinions about this was really sweet and strong burnt caramel taste 🤔. My friend ordered cookie monster and he thought that it's must be interesting flavour that he have seen before 🙂. I felt that it was looked quite artifical in one look but my impression like cookies & cream mixed with blue ice cream. My another friend order dark chocolate (as he wrote food reviews above) and its strongest flavour out of the three flavour tbh. We waited for waffles at least 20 mins to serve because a lot of people order before us. The waffles was quite soft and crispy but turned soggy after ice cream melted away 🥲

No stranger to people living in Hougang, they have been in the neighbourhood for many years.

It get crowded on weekends, especially with the weather getting warmer now.

So for something more refreshing and not too creamy, go for the lychee rose. The texture is light, feel like eating ice shave; but full of flavours.

Lightly crisp shoe-strings fried to a beautiful hue of golden brown with crispiness and truffle aroma, topped with a layer of shredded Parmesan cheese 》$9.80

Please do not visit too late because you need to factor in time for queueing and their kitchen closes at 1am which they are quite strict about it.

I have been here so many times that I can continuously redeem a free lonely waffle. With every 10 stamps ($5 per stamp) collected on their loyalty card, you get one free lonely waffle. This was one of the reasons that makes me come back so frequently. It not definitely not my first free waffle and of course not going to be my last.

Here I have honeycomb and roasted pistachio (premium) ice cream on a waffle. These two flavours are among my usual favourites for their distinct and creamy flavours. The waffle with lonely usually costs $7.50 which I got for free and topped up $2.50 + $0.80 (Premium Flavour) for another scoop.

Was very crowded when Passed by last Friday night at around 10pm, this place closes very late, thus alot of supper hunters.

Came on a lazy Sunday afternoon, relaxing vibe as its not very crowded.

Waffle was hot and crispy. Cookie Monster was quite milky and tasted just like cookies and cream, just the color is blue.

The cookie monster tastes like cookies and cream but more delicious hehe and hazelnut truffle had a pretty strong hazelnut taste which i enjoyed

🌟Ambience: 7/10
super cute pink background and light-ups! place can be quite small tho

Popular ice cream parlour in the heartland of Kovan that opens till 2am serving a good variety of fixed and seasonal flavours. They churn out pretty innovative flavours and I like how they allow tasting before ordering so there’s no regret with the scoop ordered.

Here I have blueberry crumble, dark chocolate, pistachio and rum & raisin (available only on Friday & weekends). Other flavours that caught my attention include honey comb for its creamy and simple flavour with bits of crunchy comb and honey. The other flavour worth going for would be their current seasonal flavour - chrysanthemum ginseng with light chrysanthemum flavours and hints of ginseng which may be too strong for some. If you have yet to try, hurry go get your scoop on their last few runs for this seasonal flavour before it's gone to make room for their Christmas flavours. Ho ho ho! 🎅🏻🎄

Is my first time here at Lickers, I have tried ice cream with waffle! To me waffle was too crispy (I do prefer soft one) and ice cream test is ok ok!
Overall is ok but not that WOW LOL!

Loving this little ice cream cafe in Hougang!

Here’s Honeycomb and premium Pistachio atop a plain waffle.. came on a Sunday evening just before the long queue starts and glad to find a seat within 10 mins. 2 scoops at $6, additional $0.80 for premium flavour, $4 for waffles, the happiness from eating - priceless!

Waffles were not bad. Cookie Monster ice cream is super blue and cute, but the chocolate ice cream was just average.

As stated on the title! Please try their speculoos flavor if you’re there. Nice place to hang out at, just that it can get pretty crowded!

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered a double scoop of Oolong Lavender & Honeycomb ice cream from Lickers. We were cautioned by the staff that the former had a strong lavender flavour to it, but that didn’t deter me as a lavender fan 😊

And in all honesty, after a couple of mouthfuls, I couldn’t taste the flavour anymore 😂 my companion disagreed though.

Our favourite was definitely the Honeycomb out of the two! There were even bits of actual crispy honeycomb to compliment the light honey taste.

The ice cream wasn’t as creamy as I would’ve liked, but I’ll definitely be back to try their waffles 😊

Had the double scoops in a cup at $6. Very affordable especially with the generous scoops! The Yakult Oreo was refreshing and went really well with the Hazelnut Truffles.

Can get crowded but wouldn’t mind a lil wait for this!

Rating: 4/5

When we were buying the scoop of Oolong Lavender, the staff kindly warned us that the lavender taste was very strong and offered to let us try it first before getting it. We appreciated that gesture very much! The lavender taste was indeed overwhelming and honestly I couldn’t taste the Oolong, it was more like a lavender ice cream, which is fine by me and still yummy because I am a fan of lavender.

The roasted pistachio ice cream was surprisingly very good - it was super nutty and tasted like real pistachio, not the “fake pistachio tastes” that you may encounter in other ice creams. It was as if I was eating frozen blended pistachios, and I loved it!
