The waitress recommended the meatball tagliatelle ($26++) over the ravioli, so we went with her suggestion! I must confess that I had my reservations when the dish arrived - it looked terribly plain, like something I could whip up from cans at home. But this is, hands down, my favourite pasta at Lino thus far! The homemade tomato sauce is tangy and savoury; the pasta had a firm bite. What won me over were the meatballs - a medley of beef and lamb, they had a great depth of flavour that pulled the whole dish together without being too heavy. This paired perfectly with the burrata pizza!
The beef short rib fettuccine ($29++) is highly recommended by average at best - the sauce is one dimensional and a tad too salty, whilst the beef came across more like bolognese. Iād stick to their pizzas!
Apologies again for my phone messing up and losing the photo
This was very unexpected because io's version is crispy, basically siobak but this one was thinly sliced and is similar to cooked ham. It's very mild and doesnt leave an impression, very overpriced for 17 too
Quite well balanced. Certainly the best BBQ ckn pizza I've had. I know it's kind of a stupid choice considering how their other pizzas are almost certainly better but I was tempted to taste a proper BBQ pizza made by an Italian place instead of some chain restaurant lol. And no regrets, it's pretty satisfying
PSA using BB precludes use of any set lunch or dinner!!!
It's passable for their standard, but nothing stunning. Tomato sauce wasn't anywhere near as bright as previous time we had it.
Absolutely love the burrata pasta here!! The cheese, pesto and tomato blend is amazing.
The restaurant is pretty packed too! Better to reserve in advance
