This new bakery-cafe totally got me excited with their scrumptious baked goods, pretty presentation and competitive pricing. This is Matcha Brioche ($3.20) made with Japanese wheat flour, French butter, key ingredients and pure matcha imported from Shizuoka prefecture of Japan, known for producing the finest tea.
Just a day away from their opening on 29th April at 557 Bukit Timah Road where you will be treated to a wide selection of baked variables and all day-breakfast.
Simply spend above $5 dollar during the promotional period to enjoy their 27-layer croissant for only a dollar. Full review on www.alainlicious.com
Featuring one of their signature Hainanese Chicken Bread, best savoured with garlicky chicken rice chili, even the little one also love it!
Brioche was surprisingly light and fluffy, but what makes this so good was the intense bitter matcha flavours which was evident throughout. This is was so good it makes for a nice tea time snack just by itself!
Breakfast platter that comes with various goodies so it's best shared between two or three. For most parts it's pretty decent, with cheese sausage, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, tomato, Crown Puff Pastry, Mesculun salad and braised oxtail. Highlights for me was the tomato which was juicy and tangy; very fresh, sautéed mushrooms which was juicy and flavourful with its earthiness, the oxtail which was surprisingly tender and not forgetting the Crown Puff Pastry; shaped in their logo with an egg in the middle with runny yolk that is crisp and flaky.
I am not a fan of quiches, but I must say that this is really one of the Quiche Lorraine that I enjoyed eating; even possibly the best I ever had. The light crust had a savoury flavour along, adding flavour to the eggy insides which were spiked with huge chunks of bacon and ham for flavour. There is also a light touch of cheese atop, and it not only felt fresh, it really was very well put together. A must-order here!
Smell so good, taste so good! 😍😋
Amazingly soft texture! RM9 for the bigger box.
It was filled with laughter , feasting and catching up with some of my foodie friends ! I'm blessed to have like minded pals around me :) this is the first of two cakes I received over the weekend! It was a loaf of chocolate cake from Nassim hill cafe :) truly chocolatey and very moist ! These are the only slices left Heehe my parents in law enjoyed these a lot too :) thanks dear @sibehpuikia for blessing us with the goodies !!
Super awesome bread yesterday for brunch! Every set of brunch/breakfast u ordered, they will serve bread. But mine was served after I finished my main course 😨, for some others, the bread was served first.
Well anyway, the bread is really good, soft, fresh & QQ and we finished it all! (Bread from Freshly Baked by Le Bijoux)
