$51 for 5 pax and we’re so full and satisfied! 😋 Love the 减水饺, red bean fritters, scallop dumplings, mango prawn fritters and the yam char siew fritters!

On a rainy public holiday afternoon, all these freshly made dim sum are soul-comforting that it really warms the heart. Special mention to the Steam Carrot Cake ($3) which has strips of white radish inside while the entire cake is so soft that it literally melts in your mouth. The next popular dim sum, the Signature Salted Egg Custard Pau ($3.80) is of the right size with a QQ texture and a savoury sweet salted egg mixture.

Dim Sum with the boy! And more to come soon whn I'm at HK!!!! 😬

Today was one of the very rare times I find myself in Changi Village, and felt like having Dim Sum for Sunday's brunch so tried out Le Xuan based on online reviews. Overall, it was ok: decent selections, value for money prices and taste-wise acceptable but nothing wow-ing. I'd probably recommend the crispy char siew buns and hakka yong tau foo.

If you're a dim sum lover, why not check out Swee Choon? They are now offering 15% off their weekday special value meal.⁣
3 options to choose from:⁣
- Single (1 pax)⁣
- Buddy (2 pax)⁣
- Family (4-5 pax)⁣

Food in frame is from the Top 10 Heavenly Dim Sum Family Value Set at [$67+] which consist of Swee Choon's top dim sum offering. Comes with 4 drinks and option of lime or water chestnut.

The Siew Mai Pork And Shrimp Dumplings (SGD $3.50) or Seafood Siew Mai has minced pork, deshelled shrimp, and garlic chives, lending a depth of sweet savoury vegetal flavour to the dumpling.
.
The Beancurd Skin Roll In Sweet And Sour Gravy (SGD $2.20) has a dense firm filling of moist fish cake within the thin brown slippery grainy beancurd skin, and is small in size. However, the robust gravy saves this with its sweet and sour flavour. Poor texture but decent taste, odd.
.
The 4 Treasures Chicken (SGD $2.50) is so named for the 4 ingredients within the thin beancurd skin, including boneless chicken, carrots, yam / taro, and shiitake mushrooms. With a tender chew to texture, this has mild earthy sweet savoury herbal flavours.
.
The Fan Choy (SGD $1.80) features a base of sticky glutinous rice, topped with tender char siew / roasted pork loin, chewy dried Chinese pork sausage, and a slice of hard boiled egg. With smoky meaty savoury sweet salty flavours, the version here is decent enough to satisfy.
