The newly launched fish filet is crispy and yummy. And that tub of creamy tartar sauce serving is so generous.
Unfortunately @mcdsg today your famous fries is cold and soggy.
Thankfully, despite the immense disappointment that is their Salted Egg Fries, they did slightly redeem themselves with their Peach Pie. 😋
Admittedly, nothing complex in taste, but it is very close to the Vitagen Peach which makes it very likeable. The chunks of white peach encased in the pie were also a lovely addition!
This was, to me, quite possibly the most disappointing item to have come out of McDonald’s menu. They’ve had plenty of hits, even if some take time for me to grow fonder of them. But this…this was not IT at all. 😕
The familiar salted egg taste was sure enough detectable in the sauce, but only in the aftertaste. Otherwise, the sauce tasted like a watery, and less tangy tartar. 😞 I was hoping for the texture of the sauce that they had on the Salted Egg burger two years ago (anybody remember that?!)
You can satisfy your burning curiosity for this, but there’s a good chance you won’t be satisfied with this. 😓
McDonald's has once again done a decent job in coming up with a crowd-pleaser. Don’t expect real durian for $4 (obviously, maybe 1% real?), but there were a few actual bits in it. McDonald's clearly didn't hold back on the syrup, which was almost diabetes-inducing. At this price, I probably wouldn’t be getting it again. At least it tastes like durian. @mcdsg

Wasn't on the menu, but I just was not in the mood to fumble with a cone today. So I asked if I could get it in a cup instead and yes, ask and you shall be given! Though, usual price of a cone was $1.30 but I felt I definitely received more ice cream 🐷
🌞 I am not having this for breakfast now but I thought I should start off the day on a positive 🙆 note by reminiscing this wonderful meal I had a few days ago. It was my first time trying the Create Your Taste menu at McDonald's and I had fun choosing the ingredients. Though the meal was not exactly cheap (since I was so greedy and added so many ingredients), I must say I really enjoyed my burger creation. I also won some food vouchers and a cute McDonald's shopping bag in the lucky draw, which made the whole dining experience sweeter. Here's wishing everyone a great day ahead. It can get quite messy while eating this burger because of the generous amount of sweet sauce (which I love!) slathered on the beef patties. This is the reason why I prefer to order the Samurai Burger via Grab Food. No worries about dripping sauces and sticky fingers as I can dine in the comfort of my home without feeling queasy about my table manners. 🤣
