Meadesmoore has a modern atmosphere that makes it feel special without being overly formal, perfect for a comfortable dinner. The dark setting with outside light rays just moderately illuminating the seating area with a dim alcohol display behind the bar gives it a very posh yet inviting atmosphere for a meal.
The steak stands out with its rich flavour and perfect doneness, and the sauces lift it even further without overpowering the meat. Portions of 200g are just right for two to share, and the staff to tables ratio are just right, presenting an overall experience that feels both thoughtful and satisfying.
I also had the tiramisu which I barely got the chance to take a picture of as it was absolutely fantastic. Rich flavours of chocolate mixed with the right portion of alcohol in it, rounds up the meal completely.
The chicharon was a standout starter, perfectly fried with a crispy crunch that set the tone for the meal. For the main, the beef was tender and rich, complemented by a signature sauce and baked garlic that enhanced the flavour without overpowering it. The charred cauliflower with pomegranate was a thoughtful side to balance out the richness of the meat. Saving the best for the last, the tiramisu served as a satisfying finish without feeling heavy.
Great dinner at Meadesmoore, especially love the mac and cheese with very unique pasta and a well balanced combination of cheeses! the dry aged cut was also such a standout, w 3 different types of meat! my only gripe is the atmosphere which was a bit too dark and the acoustics made it a bit hard to chat w ur table partner over other louder groups. That said it was an overall great experience w lovely and attentive servers!
The 500g 25 days dry-aged cut did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly and while we had the option of a few sauces, the steak shone on its own.
Another standout from the night was the truffle Mac & cheese (not pictured). It definitely packs a punch flavour wise and wasn’t particularly cloying, which we appreciated.
Heard about this place from my friends and decided to have a Monday night date here with the wife - and it did not disappoint!
Highlight for me was the Chimichurri Bone Marrow - fragrant and smooth, and paired well with the sourdough bread!
Started with the Chicharo — super crispy and crackly, not too salty. Paired it with a glass of red wine which our waitress recommended
Main was the Denver cut beef (shoulder) — really tender, slightly grainy with a natural sweetness, complemented by the signature sauce and mint sauce.
The charred cauliflower side was sweet and comforting, with a creamy tzatziki-style sauce and pops of pomegranate.
Finished with the tiramisu — rich, indulgent, and you can definitely taste the brandy in the cream.
Perfect for date nights or when you’re in the mood for a fancy meal out.
