Very worthwhile bento set as there's a lot of components haha. Everything was good! The chicken is perfectly seasoned and coated with the teriyaki sauce, warm fluffy rice as well as smooth melts-in-your-mouth chawanmushi! Was very impressed with the chawanmushi as they included salmon roe and edamame. Thumbs up!

Famous for their thick Japanese curry broth and insanely huge portions, this is literally goodness in a bowl albeit a enormous one. The dory fish was super soft and the curry complemented the rice well. My only complaint is if the curry sauce given could be more generous!

.
The brand specialises in Japanese curry - a rich, savoury, mildly spicy concoction that resembles a demi-glace brown sauce. The house-made Japanese curry here features a total of 14 different spices and vegetables, and takes a full 2 days to prepare, alternating boiling and resting, to derive a unique flavour found nowhere else.
.
This has a base of aromatic fluffy sticky Japanese white rice, served with a mound of fresh crisp shredded lettuce, and crunchy pickled daikon radish.
.
With a large breaded pork loin katsu. The pork is slightly crisp on the outside, with a tender, slightly firm inside, and a good amount of fat on the edges, giving it a succulent savoury salty flavour.
.
The star is the rich Japanese curry, with bold savoury flavour, not overly salty, that has a hint of toasted caramel (which is one of the ingredients). Laced with your choice of spicy chili.

.
With a flat chicken fillet drizzled with teriyaki sauce, and medium sized deep-fried tori karaage / breaded chicken meat balls.
.
The chicken has a slightly crisp skin, with a tender but dry chicken meat, though the savoury salty sweet flavour of the teriyaki sauce help it along.
.
In contrast, the tori karaage / breaded chicken meat balls were good, with a juicy bite and crisp crunch, holding good savoury sweet salty flavour.
.
Served with their signature savoury Japanese demi-glace curry, laced with your choice of spicy chili.

A moist flaky large dory fish fillet coated in crisp batter, 2 tender flaky salmon fish fillets, 2 bouncy juicy fried prawns, and 2 bouncy juicy tempura prawns complete the toppings.
.
The dory fish fillet is slighty sweet savoury, almost flat without the curry. The salmon fish fillets are nicely savoury sweet, and is the best component of this dish for me. The prawns are sweet savoury, rather clean-tasting, and the tails come off easily.

Or 1 very hungry person.

Half of your plate is slathered with THE curry sauce, and you get generous portions of pork katsu, fried fish, pork shabu-shabu, tempura, and cheese.

The cheese is further torched so that it melts over the slab of golden deep-fried pork.
