PSA you can call to get a queue number in advance, please abuse this feature and stop waiting for 1h at this place

Soup was clean and slightly sweet from the herbs, meat was quite good. Ribs were slightly subpar, not as fatty/ gelatinous as it can be. Mutton balls were very soft, way too soft it's almost fishball texture. Leg tendon is incredibly tender. Tripe was alright but still a little stringy

Overall definitely decent but the location is alr ulu, so definitely not worth the 1h queue. But I guess if you can order in advance then it's still ok. Only the leg tendon rlly impressed, the rest weren't superb

This mutton soup stall is very popular among the people here in Ang Mo Kio, why would I say that? This is because it took me 1 hour just to wait for my mutton soup to be served.

Make your order at the stall and collect your number, then wait until your number has been called.

So I literally waited for more than 1 hour to reach my number and I totally understand why so many people would get it even the waiting time is long.

The soup definitely very tasty and strong in taste. I gotten the normal meat version, which is very tender and soft.

Rainy day calling for a bowl of piping hot mutton soup to warm one up~

Nice herbal mutton soup, can smell it even from far~

Soup was well balanced (neither diluted nor overpowering), ginger and coriander definitely play impt roles, not forgetting to mention the sweetness from the goji berries…

The mutton was tender, the gamey smell from the mutton was also mild, at least to me this was acceptable, and the stall was generous with the portion of mutton, at this price, what a steal indeed!

Though came by at off peak period (at abt 3pm+), waited for a good one hour for it, can’t imagine during lunch hour…

Overall, a value-for-$ mutton soup that I wouldn’t mind coming back for (but maybe not that frequent cos of the wait)…

My first intention is to tabao the carrot cake at this coffee shop, but I saw all customers having this mutton soup, so I decided to try it.
Its really good, the mutton meat is tender and not gamey at all, the soup is very comforting with the balance of herbal flavour on it.
