Imagine spaghetti with beef masak lemak, this is exactly it. Masak lemak basically is spicy turmeric coconut milk stew, and to have it with beef is something I actually enjoy. While I like to have it with steamed rice usually, I found it to be a weird combination to have it with spaghetti. I believe I will just stick to the usual rice combination and skip the spaghetti altogether in the future. That aside, the stew was nice on its own and the beef was tender too.

(3.3/5) Boleh laaaa... Good variety of chilli, with fried onion! But definitely plenty of MSG. Was thirsty the whole night!

We had our team dinner the other day, and ended up in Nando's. We ordered a lot of things! We weren't that hungry, or we probably were.. Quite. We ordered a plate of chicken wings to share between the four of us, and we ordered lemon and herb just to be safe. Good stuff, it's quite finger licking good when you think about it. Except I didn't use my fingers. I probably should 😋

Another afternoon spent with Mr Rogers. As I stepped in to the restaurant, the waitress told me that it will take about 45 minutes if I were to have chicken.

Lucky for me, I wanted macaroni and cheese, so I got this instead. I also wanted soup, so this was a win-win situation 😁

For RM17, I got a bowl of chicken soup and macaroni and cheese and a bit of chicken. Didn't disappoint.

One fine afternoon, I had no idea why I ended up in Kenny Rogers Roasters for lunch, but I did.

I had a quarter black pepper chicken, a scoop of macaroni and cheese and a banana muffin. For less than RM20, I think it was worth it.

An hour before I was going for lunch, my colleague asked, "Do you eat pan mee? Don't worry, it's halal" and I jumped in joy (on the inside) at the opportunity. I have always wanted to try pan mee, but it's quite hard to find a halal one.

So to pan mee we went. I got excited that they had halal dry chilli pan mee for RM12.60 (before taxes), so I got that. I was excited when my bowl arrived. + RM1, you get a glass of iced lemon tea.

I had no idea what to expect from it, but I loved it. I loved the dry chilli, I loved the egg, I loved the mushrooms, I loved the anchovies. I loved the noodles, I loved everything.

I would definitely come back here for this, probably tomorrow. Then again, I had nowhere else to compare it to. Other than that, they have other types of pan mee too. I don't plan on trying the other ones, I loved this too much 🙈

This was the other cheeseburger, which was of a beef patty. Funny how I didn't like the fact that they used the chicken they used in their tacos but I was hoping they used the beef they used in their tacos. I am one weird girl.

Either way, my burger was alright. It was not that it was not tasty, it was. It was just ordinary to me. It was nothing special. It was almost the same as the black pepper burger sold at the other side of the market, and that is only about RM3 at most. This was almost RM10 more. I would definitely stick to the tacos next time.

Recently, Cowboys came up with a new item called the cheeseburger, and this fan just had to try it out. It comes in both beef and chicken, so I bought both.

This was the chicken one, and though I didn't try it, my sister told me that it was made up of the chicken they usually put in their tacos instead of chicken patties. I thought that was cool, then my sister said that it was more skin than actual meat, so that's quite sad. This was RM12.90.

There was nothing to eat at home last night, and Cowboys was around, so Cowboys for dinner it is!

After eating the tacos all the time, I decided to try out the Chuck Norris (RM19.90). It had 3 chicken wings (you can choose to have it with garlic parmesan sauce or spicy BBQ sauce -- I picked the latter), chicken chop and smoked beef brisket.

I wouldn't lie, I thought the portion was going to be bigger than that. If you are a big eater, you might need to add something else to fully satisfy your stomach. It was good, it really was! It was just that I thought it would be bigger. Then again, I was full by the time I was done, and I actually shared it with my sister. I am actually drooling just thinking about the taste now, sigh.

I am probably used to eating nachos with some funky dip that I forgot it could be with just beef and cheese and it will still taste good. This is by far the best beef nachos I have ever had, but it would be so much better if the cheese used was actually melted cheese. Man, imagine the cheesy goodness.. I would be very happy 😍 even so, the beef was still tender, as of their other beef dishes so that's good. That's really good, because consistency. Definitely did go back for more of these beef nachos. Cowboys Food Truck can be found sometimes in Subang Jaya, Taman Tun or Damansara Uptown. Follow their Instagram for location updates! 😊

As I may have stated before, anything with tender beef would definitely be good. I keep coming back for this and the chicken tacos, depending on my mood. Either way, they are both very good. I have yet to try their specialty which is the Chuck Norris platter. That, and their chicken wings. Man, I must try those when I go there again.
