Came by for a birthday celebration and because they were hacing a 9mpd promotion on Kris+. We started off with their Happy Hour and thoroughly enjoyed their $10 pints and $14 cocktails. For sides, would recommend everything that we got - the Brussel Sprouts ($15), Spicy Wings Level 2 ($17), and especially the Mac & Cheese ($15). Perfectly cooked and intensely cheesy, we ordered another mac n cheese as we could not get enough of it! As for mains, we preferred the "To Die For" Burger ($27) over the Baby Back Ribs ($36). Burger was juicy and delicious, while the ribs were pretty tough and the sweet-tangy sauce was uninspired. Although, we have to say that the fries - both potato and sweet potato - were so crisp yet thick, so so delicious! Service was quick and friendly, and they even gave a slice of chocolate cake for our birthday celebration. Recommend this place for a fun night out with a gorgeous view of Marina Bay!
Came on a Sunday evening and place wasnât that crowded. The beef with potato stew was good - hearty and comforting. Highly recommend. Minced pork cutlet was also crispy and Black cod with miso from the seasonal menu was nicely seasoned, moist and tender.
Overall nice restaurant with attentive service. Good selection of alcohol as well.
Came across this hearty Japanese restaurant on a weekend evening.
Restaurant had a chill vibe, like those you would enjoy after a long day of work.
Ordered the Gindara Misoyaki, Tako Wasabi, Gyuniku Jaga, and some Pork skewers.
Special love to the Tako Wasabi with the rich, strong wasabi taste, as well as the skewers, which were super tender and flavourful!
Highly recommended to anyone that are looking for a nice japanese restaurant that serves skewers!
Food was pretty good, ambience was relaxed and peaceful as the mall wasnât too busy. Just to note that the Burpple Beyond â30% off 2 pasta/pizzaâ actually means 30% off ONE of the pasta/pizza (lower priced item) with minimum purchase of two. I gave feedback to the staff to change the wording of the Burpple voucher as I feel it incorrectly represents the deal.
Our carbonara actually had a ~2cm eggshell in it, but the staff apologised when they noticed it on our empty plates. They even gave us a free lava cake as compensation, which I thought was very good service recovery - since they initiated it on their own (we didnât make any noise, didnât even bring the eggshell issue up, they were the ones that saw it and couldâve pretended not to see it, but acknowledged it).

Delightful to sample this 4hand k inspired 4hand collab between Meatsmith / Guum / Burnt Ends .
The pairing with a variety of Korean drinks was excellent as well .
It was a lovely experience, my group loved the place and the view is amazing. Apparently there's a Tues and Wed game event (8pm) where we can win a game to get a free drink đ That made for a fun break in the middle of dinner. Would love to come back!
tried oden for the first time ever here it was one of the most comforting dishes i've had! would recommend the mentaiko rosti too. restaurant was quite cosy and vibey too i kept looking at the paintings on the walls, nice place to yap and catch up with a friend :)
Shukuu Izakaya is a gem! The food is super fresh and really well prepared â you can taste the quality in every bite. The interior has a cozy, authentic vibe, and the service was warm and attentive. Great spot for a chill night out with amazing Japanese food. Will definitely be back!
Had an amazing dining experience! The ambience was lovely and so was the service. Loved the grilled broccolini, which paired really well with the juicy and flavourful steak! So glad we didnât miss out on dessert too - the pavlova flotante was so yummy & a great way to end off a satisfying meal.
Not exaggerating when I say that this was the best steak Iâve ever eaten!! Extremely tenderrrr, perfectly seasoned and beautifully pink inside. Definitely highly recommend the grass-fed rib eye to everyone visiting this steakhouse.
Lamb rack was also perfectly medium-rare and tasted great. For starters, the crispy chicharones (fried pork skin) with the light tangy sauce was appetising and addictive.
Ordered the pavlova with sorbet dessert. Simple yet sophisticated, light and refreshing.
Overall cozy ambiance, great quiet place with amazing food to celebrate special occasions. Service was also very attentive. So glad to have visited and will definitely be back for their steak!
The steak is season perfectly. Not too salty, not too bland. It pairs well with the side dishes. The two component that stands to me is the brussel sprout where it is baked perfectly to leave a nice char and crisp on its other layer and the mash potato where it is mixed with roasted black garlic to give a unique taste.
