A nice change from the usual strawberry variant, Nesuto’s Melon Vanilla Shortcake was pretty refreshing. Layered with diced Australian Rockmelon and Vanilla Souffle Sponge, the Vanilla Mascarpone Chantilly Cream was light yet aromatic with a pleasant dose of sweetness. Holding everything together, the airy whipped cream was the best part for me as it didn’t take the spotlight away from the melon. The chiffon was also soft and mild in flavour so most of the sweetness was from that of the fruit.

Citron Pistache - $11.90

Both pistachio and lemon are strong flavours, yet Nesuto was able to tone them down and match them into this dome cake. Inside there are lemon white chocolate mousse, pistachio milk custard and housemade pistachio praline. Topped with pistachio 'Snow Cap' with candied lemon. Refreshing flavour with distinctive pistachio note. Lovely when paired with tea too

The moment we've all been eagerly waiting for is finally here – @dear.nesuto has officially opened its doors at Jewel Changi Airport!

If you're a dessert aficionado like me, you won’t want to miss the outlet’s exclusive cakes and extended range of delicately crafted Chocolate Bon Bons!

With flavors like Matcha Chestnut, Chocolate Orange and Chocolate Whiskey, it's going to be a tough decision picking just one! I had a hard time choosing between Matcha Chestnut and Chocolate Whiskey as my favourite, with the latter eventually winning the spot because there’s just something irresistibly decadent about the heavenly combination of rich chocolate and a hint of whiskey!

On to their Chocolate Bon Bons, there’s Earl Grey & Bergamot, Smoked Dark Chocolate & Caramel, Japanese Goma, Passionfruit & Hazelnut, Rose & Pistachio, and Raspberry & Lime. Highly recommend the Rose & Pistachio which has a floral and fruity fusion; and the Earl Grey & Bergamot which has an aromatic tea-infused charm!

If you find yourself at Jewel Changi Airport, don't miss the chance to treat yourself to these delightful confections at Nesuto!

Overall, their cakes are definitely worth a try for the quality albeit on the pricier end 🫶🏻 They’re generally soufflé-like, light and fluffy without the heaviness and greasiness of buttercream/whipped cream.

- Strong nutty profile resembling a ferrero rocher and hints of sea salt with hazelnut mousse and chocolate, my favourite out of their chocolate-based cakes 🤎
- Crunchy caramelised clusters of hazelnuts gave a textural contrast to the creamy cake!

- Robust flavour with a slight acidity from the espresso, reminiscent of tiramisu!
- Melt-in-the-mouth liqueur mousse with coffee sponge layers, which were a little denser here, and creamy dark chocolate ganache, good complement of flavours 😋

- The least impressionable out of all, the black sesame flavour was quite muted.
- Enjoyed the fragrant sesame streusel which added a nutty savouriness and crumbly cookie-like texture!
- The thick custard cream and chiffon could be a little dry together though.

- Moist sponge layers with dark chocolate cream, well-balanced in light bittersweet ganache, super chocolatey!!
- Tasted so satisfyingly indulgent like a brownie 🍫

- My mum loved this, reminded her of the fruity flavour of sherbet!
- Juicy raspberries with light yuzu mousse which gave a refreshing citrus flavour, perfect for those who like tangy desserts 🍋

- As a huge fan of tea flavours, this was amazing and rich, think hojicha in a cake!
- Every bite was full of the aromatic roasty taste from the chiffon sponge to the chantilly cream and ganache 🤤

This is good! Very refreshing zesty lemon helps balance out the rich, nutty & slightly salty housemade pistachio praline (it's like pistachio nut butter!) 😋 pistachio lovers shud get it!

Was excited for the pecan praline that looks like pecan nut butter sauce on their insta & almond dacquoise sponge but was disappointing. It was way too sweet which covers all the flavours.

Nutty black sesame fragrance in every element & I like the black ssm biscuit one top too! Didn't like the cream on top cos it tasted abit greasy like butter cream. Overall nice as it's not too sweet

Matcha Bavaroise Cheesecake - $11.90

The cake might be petite but it’s a densely packed cheesecake. Green tea flavour is balanced, no bitterness. I enjoyed the minimal yet scenic decoration, looks like fallen petals on green pasture

a mix of rose, raspberries and lychee, this queen ispahan was my favourite dessert there! there were so many layers to this dessert - lychee jelly, sponge cake, raspberry bavaroise and rose cream that all went really well together! it was sour and sweet, and super light on the palate
