Amazing food and sake selection. They are known for their beef- whether raw, stewed, grilled, or shabu shabu. Definitely not shabu shabu gen quality good. But decently nice for that iza night. The tuna bomb is my favorite, with tuna chunks on grill and fire served not tableside but on the table, the Mt Fuji is always heartwarming especially with ramen thrown in. Broth might get a little salty after a while that warrants the server to add a little water to make it right. Their raw beef sashimi is pretty good too..! But no dentures allowed as it’s really chewy.
We stumbled on Niku Kappo when we were looking for place to eat at ION Orchard and we were not disappointed. Love their food along with the theatrics presentation.

Love the soup broth! Cabbage & beansprouts made the soup really sweet too. Comes with free nissin kyushu ramen and generous portion of meat 🤪
𝐌𝐭 𝐅𝐮𝐣𝐢 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟏 ($𝟏𝟒.𝟗𝟎)
The quality of the beef and pork are decent considering the price and the amount. It came with a small side salad, ramen noodles , and the other ingredients in the pot include cabbage, some other leafy vegetable, and SO MUCH TAU GAY
The monstrous amount of tau gay made the whole broth taste like nothing... but tau gay 😔. Only after we topped up the soup nearer the end, did I get to taste the actual broth, and it’s actually very tasty on it’s own! But also because of of the amount of ingredients, mainly beansprouts, the soup took very very long to boil 🥴
Ok, to be fair it’s interesting, and really isn’t bad for the amount that they give you, but it’s honestly just a novelty dish.

Sliced wagyu beef marinated in sukiyaki sauce on a bed of rice. Nothing special, and didn’t strike me as wagyu quality. Including service tax and GST, this came up to a whopping $28 which was quite pricey.
But I was served with complimentary sprite-like drink, which was appreciated because the sukiyaki sauce is quite sweet and needed to be washed down.
I'm pretty surprised by this welcome drink when the server presented a welcome drink.
It's tonic water with a dash of sake, with goji berries and fresh mint leaves as garnishes.
The taste is very refreshing
