Have a colourful cheerful start to a new work week!
I tried out the new chrysanthemum aiyu jelly bowl ($3.60) but it was not really to my liking as i didnt like having chrysanthemum flower petals all over in the dessert bowl. The chrysanthemum jelly was also less sweet, more bitter than the normal aiyu jelly.
Gona stick to my favourite aww in one cup from now on!
The bowl featured behind is the free grass jelly bowl we got (worth $2.80) for making 5 purchases using their loyalty card stamp!
I super love nine fresh!! There is a new matcha-licious series now with ongoing promotion at $3 each (instead of $3.8) till 15 Nov 2020! Tried both the matcha-licious set A and B and love them both! Basically it is matcha flavoured soy pudding beancurd! And I prefer this matcha flavoured ones than the original soy beancurd. Highly recommend!!
Nine fresh desserts again! Bought this earlier on when they were having the 2 for $5.5 promo. My favourite items are exactly these two here - aww in one cup (which comes with grass jelly, soya beancurd and aiyu jelly) as well as the fruity aiyu jelly! Love all the qq pearls and balls from nine fresh! šš»
I was quite impressed! Perhaps the first time was a miss, but I finally get why people like it.
Things I liked: grass jelly, aiyu jelly, round pearl-like jelly bursts (all flavourful with appropriate textures).
Things I didn't like: sweet potato/assorted chewy balls (more floury than chewy), tiny rectangular jelly cubes (had an odd sweet flavour). They are very reasonably priced compared to their other Taiwanese dessert competitor, and I understand why they are popular.
Price: $2.90-$3.50

So glad my Bubur Cha Cha is back for National Day August special!! Iām so in love with the yam and sweet potato!! Not those ball type
$3
Nine fresh has been my constant for desserts for a long time now, due to its low price point and mildly sweet desserts. I ordered the Grass Jelly Special ($2.30) as I never liked the beans or peanuts in this dessert. The milk packet that they give is a must put! The portion is always too much for me, hence a good bowl to share with another person :)
