Looking to have a festive meal soon? The Oak Room is tucked on the 3rd floor of Hotel Royal and is great for a quiet casual meal with a date, family or friends. They specialise in steaks which is one of the options in their X'mas set menu which is available till 6th Jan for just $38++ for lunch or $65++ for dinner including 1 glass of red or white wine! Super value—you get a appetiser, starter, main and dessert! Great festive mood in the restaurant and you can easily make bookings through Chope app!

Different knifefuls of the roasty, peppery pork chop present various mouthly experiences - from lean and smoky like a toned and decidedly vintage Commando officer to crunchy fattiness which goes KRIKKRIKKRIK in your mouth like a horror film sound effect, this rather splendid pork chop has so many layers it should win a Golden Globe. Elsewhere, the spice apple sauce was McDonald's Apple Pie-esque, all wet and caramelly oven-style goodness. 4.1/5

The chewy crab had the sweetness of a MRT curry puff-selling makcik's smile, while elsewhere the intoxicatingly fragrant, firm and wet linguine had a luxurious sophistication that matched its price tag and yet somehow managed to provide the familiar comfort of Chinese cooking. 4/5

The perfectly cooked pinkish meat is served with parmesan mash, greens, baby carrots and natural jus. When you have a premium piece of meat, there is no need to do anything fancy but just let the natural flavour does its own talking.

This is one of the best pork chop I have eat. The texture was so soft and tender that I would have easily mistaken it as chicken in a blindfold. The portion was also very generous and affordability priced.
