Crunchy, juicy and goes with beer. The crispy pork knuckle is marinated over 24 hours with a spice mix to achieve a juicy and crispy crackling skin. Large enough for two to three pax, comes with salad and special sauce 》$49.80

While the mazesoba was nothing to shout about, the mentaiko salmon was cooked perfectly. Comes with fried chicken skin/ mushrooms/ onset egg. At $10nett including a free drink (pepsi/ root beer/ iced lemon tea), the lunch deal here is pretty worth it. G had the mazesoba with steak which was pretty decent too. Other than mazesoba (in collaboration with Kofuku Ramen), there’s other mains and burgers to choose from.

Got this with mushroom soup and a free drink as part of their lunch set. Thought this was very value-for-money. It came with a soft shell crab and prawn patty in the burger, as well as onion rings and crispy cajun fries on the side.

Price: $12

It was so good we went for seconds, and then bought some more for takeaway. So much for the low carbs diet... that'll have to start tomorrow.

O'Bar has surprisingly good food for what seems to be a live band with beer place.

The slow simmered beef cheeks were both tender and tasty. This provided a very well rounded base sauce for the penne pasta, which was lovingly cooked to al dente perfection. The greens included seberal slices of surprisingly fresh red radish, which added a nice contrast to the rest of the dish.

Quite like the truffle fries because it can get addictive and it is still very tasty after leaving it for more than 30 minutes to an hour. Pork is quite chewy and good. Chicken wings are nice. Love the live band here. The singers on Saturday night are solid especially the male singer. All the songs are very nice. They have a mixture of Chinese, English, Hokkien and Cantonese. Worth visiting this nice cozy place.
