虎 Tiger Sugar
Mix Boba + Mini Pearl & Tiger Coffee Jelly topping.
Interesting combination of blended brown sugar & chilled creamy milk.
Almost non-stop chewing experience.
Not bad.

Totally 💕 the fat and chewy brown sugar pearls as I bite into the frozen bar. Frozen-licious moment and it tastes just like the drink itself, fragrant and not sweet.

It’s been a while since I’ve tried Grillo’s truffle shortrib bowl and I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Although the two mushrooms are a welcome new addition, the shortrib slices are almost paper thin, and also overcooked. Compared to previously, where there was at least substantial slices, this was very disappointing for me, because I always felt like this surpassed Tanuki Raw’s version. It’s a real pity.

Spend your Taco Tuesday at @pasarbella and give their Steak Taco ($4.60/pc) a try! Stuffed with chunks of steak and topped with crispy wanton skin for a local twist 😛

Despite its name, it is more like a grilled meat (chicken in my case), veggies and rice. Chicken is quite smoky and flavorful. Has that vietnamese kind of vinegar on the side that kinda gives a much needed acidity 4/5

When I’m around in the Suntec Area, Grillo’s will always be the first place to pop into my mind 💕
I absolutely adore the different textures in this bowl. The beef was succulent and nicely seasoned and cooked. The egg helped to bring the whole dish together and the frie garlic added an extra “umph” to the dish as it brought a crunchy texture! 🍚

Short Ribs Bowl (SGD $14.50) from An An Vietnamese was composed pleasantly of pearl rice, moistened and very succulent beef ribs, as well as vegetables to give that refreshing crunchy balance.

Tried this fried rice some time ago. If im not mistaken cost about $10. Doesnt really have that shrimp paste feel, comes with chewy sausage, sweet stewed chicken, pickles and chilli 3.75/5

Generous salad from pimpmysalads. I love the Guacomole!!! Wolfburger and cheese fries definitely live up to their hype!!! Juicy burger Yumz. Sadly, the salmon roll was rollie ollie sucks. Rice was mushy and you couldn't really taste the ingredients....

Stir fry Brussels Sprouts.

It's pretty hard to find Brussels sprouts at affordable prices in Singapore. Was happy to find that it is pretty affordable here!
Each item was about $4-ish. -

We get to choose from either brown rice/sushi rice/tea-infused rice. And the main highlight ingredients. Salmon, tuna, fish roe & avocado in our poke bowl. (Okay, I have an affection for avocado 🥑)

I would come back to try the sushi rolls.

As the winner of The Great Food Truck Race in 2011, I had great expectations for this and I wasn't let down! Ordered the Taco Sampler [$24.90] which came with 5 tacos and 2 sides of your choice.

The beef rib taco was my favourite. Though the slow braised ribs were slightly tough and didn't fall apart like I hoped it would, the flavour profile was well thought through and I especially love the buttermilk fried onions!

Coming in a close second was the braised pork belly taco where it had an asian twist to it by using soy to braise the pork and sambal as the sauce!!

The barramundi and fried chicken taco tied. Felt like the chipotle honey slaw on the barramundi was pretty good though lacked a certain wow factor. Fish was definitely perfectly cooked! The fried chicken taco turned soggy because of the coleslaw 'juices' so draining that before putting it in the taco would definitely improve it as the flavours were on point.

The No. 1 Steak taco ended up last in my list. It was essentially just steak in a taco. Hoped for a bit more chimichurri as the fried wonton skin and other elements would tie really well together with more sauce to unite it all.

Overall a great meal :) Sides were pretty decent with the chips being super crisp too!
