A mocha with mint added to the drink for a really sweet and minty taste! Do note that you should give the drink a good mix before having it, especially after it has been left standing for a while!

The drink costs $6++, and we decided to give it a shot as this is the first time we are seeing it in a cafe. Do try it because it is one of PUNCH's signature coffee and their artwork is pretty great as well!

We decided to get the Beef Reuben at PUNCH today! The dish comes in the form of sandwiches made from toasted rye bread and containing sauerkraut (pickled raw cabbage), corned beef and emmental cheese.

The sauerkraut was an interesting addition to the sandwich, as it was slightly crunchy, and comes with a distinctive sourish taste which contrasted quite sharply with that of the beef. On the other hand, we felt that the beef was a tad too salty, probably because corned beef was used. Nonetheless, it was still a great breakfast sandwich overall and it is decently-priced at $14++.

PUNCH can get pretty crowded at lunchtime, so do make a reservation if you are heading down in a big group. However, there is no need for a reservation if you are heading down early in the morning!

The blend of nature and modern theme of the cafe felt as though I was transported out of Singapore. Despite the rather limited menu, I enjoyed the simple well-made breakfast items. We tried the Poached Eggs with Avocado ($15), Weekender Eggs ($19) and Latte ($5). There is nothing innovative on their menu but somehow the simplicity of these breakfast items gave a good touch of comfort to my Sunday.

Will definitely visit this cafe again and make a reservation for a seat at their outdoor area where it is probably less noisy.

French toast with salted caramel drizzled all over it! Bread was crispy on the outside, but soft and fluffy on the inside. What I thought was fresh cream on top was actually mascarpone cheese, which was very mildly sweet and did not have a strong cheesy taste. It thus went pretty well with the sweetness of the French toast.

This was garnished with strawberries coated in white chocolate, which made then exceptionally sweet. This was a pretty stark contrast with the lingonberries, which were of course exceptionally sour. Personally think the dish could have done without the lingonberries.

This is the go-to item everytime I dine at Punch for breakfast. The warm toasted sandwich with cheese is exactly what you need to start your day - really generous serving of cheese with bread that is toasted to a crisp on the outside but still slightly fluffy on the inside.

The tomato soup is light and suitable to be drank directly, or to be used as a dip for your sandwich. This cools down pretty quickly so be sure to eat it while it is hot! However, for $14++, this dish is a tad expensive for a sandwich dish.

Liked this a lot as it came with a very concentrated dose of spices, with a strong whiff of cardamom and cinnamon, although I am sure there are many others too. :) The dirty chai latte came with a shot of espresso, although I think its taste was somewhat overpowered by that of the chai latte.
