Due to the Covid-19 situation, some of us may prefer to have reunion dinner in the comfort of our home. Fret not if you think it’s too troublesome to cook up a feast at home as @qqricesg is currently accepting CNY catering orders!

You gotta act fast as orders close on 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆. Quote “𝑴𝑨𝑵𝑫𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑵” to enjoy complimentary fresh orange juice per pax!

Never been so stressed to pick the 2 sides compared to this time as the waitress is not patient in showing us the add-on $0.30 items. We pick herbal egg & mushroom chicken. Also the broccoli is gone from the set. Please bring back the green as we stated in previous posts. (Lemon lime drink not in picture)

We always enjoy having oat rice here and go back for takeaway once a month. This Novena outlet has a new counter bar separating order & payment area. Another thing we notice is the missing ingredient in each set. For this oat rice set, no more sliced peas (greens). We still enjoy the taste but please bring back the greens as we all need fiber. 🥒😭
Also less choices for the oat rice (no more prawn options: fragrance shrimp & Jiu Cai) only chicken, mushroom & Xiang Chun that we picked.

This bento box is quite value for money. 2 big chunks of rosemary chicken, rice and 2 side dishes: mushroom & broccoli 🥦

Pros: good portion despite we got too few broccolis.
Rice is not as soggy as other outlet joints.
Cons: mushroom tastes a bit underwhelming

Will we go for bento box again: yes but we might try other sets.
We don’t go all in cos we need some space for our foodie trip. Stay tuned on our IG!! 🤓

Come back for more oat rice. This time we didn’t use Fave voucher. Just order right off the menu as the saving is quite small ( $5.50 compared to $5 with voucher) and we don’t want the drink. You can ask for 1 side. We pick burdock root. The tofu is by default for this set. Do ask for chili 🌶 for the oomph flavor! 🔥

Opt for the last one and it turns out to be an awesome yummy meal! Oat rice has very nice texture and go well with corn, bean, tofu, sliced peas. Even though this is a takeaway order, it is still warm as eating in. Fit lunch looks like a plan from now! 👊💪😎
