Oh the broth was amazing and lovely. It was very rich, and I chose the normal seasoning it was a bit on the salty side for me, but still ok I just couldn’t finish all the soup it was a lot. As usual I slurped up the noodles as is the traditional way of eating ramen.
Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King was my go-to ramen place a long time ago when there were much fewer ramen restaurants around, and it has been a while since I have been back. The Black Tonkotsu Ramen special is meant to be tonkotsu broth with black garlic flavour, and the more decadent option with flavoured egg, seaweed, and more chashu. I however thought that the tonkotsu broth was not as rich as I remembered it to be, and the garlic — both in aroma and taste was underwhelming. Disappointing especially since I got the black tonkotsu for the garlic punch. The egg was also sorely lacking in flavour, and the chashu was on the drier side.

So good and worth queuing (but not too long 😂) had the normal (OG) tonkatsu and it was thick. The flavour was just nice and ramen noodle was alright. The red spicy tonkatsu was delicious too - though I prefer the OG one.
By the time you’re done slurping the bowl of noodle, you’ll be too full to enjoy the free flow of egg. Would come back just for the broth!
3⭐ WB wanted something hot for dinner so we ended up here. So coincidence that we are back here after 4 years, yes exactly 4 years. We chose the special which comes with ramen egg and 2 more slice of char siew. Well, I find the char siew dry and the black fungus is given in one whole chunk.

Soup is rich and flavourful. They also gave free boiled eggs. $10.90 if you do not add toppings. Pretty worth it if you are famish. I do however wish the meat is more tender. It was average tasting to me.
Very flavourful and delicious ramen with ordering system similar to in Japan, whereby you fill in your preferences like the hardness of the noodles on a order sheet. Chose light soup for my ramen but it ended up being a little too savoury towards the end. Nevertheless, still an enjoyable bowl of ramen that I’ll be back for more!
Super long queue on a Friday evening (queued for around 30minutes) but Keisuke Ramen never disappoints!
Rich tonkotsu broth with warm silky ramen... Absolutely delectable 😋 the price point at this branch is also really affordable with ramen starting from 9.90++
We ordered the normal tonkotsu ramen + all the topups (15.90++, pictured) and the Red Spicy Ramen ($10.90++). The free flow hard boiled eggs and もやし (beansprouts) sweetened the experience even more!
Will definitely be back!

Not sure why but Keisuke tonkotsu ramen was only going for $9.90. If you get the black/red ones it’s $10.90!! So much cheaper than other outlets. As stated in a poster there, it seems like it’s only for Tanjong Pagar’s branch. Do double check if you want the promotion!
Broth was rich and thick, and noodle doneness was perfect. And free. flow. eggs. That’s one of the highlights of Keisuke! Amazing ramen & endless eggs. Definitely value for money here.
There’s usually a long queue here and the queue stretches when you arrive past 6:30pm, so be prepared if you’re heading down at that timing!
We can eat this repeatedly, perfect flavourful broth and w appetisers as comp for diners.
Very affordable bowl with free flow boiled eggs and bean sprouts. But gets surfeit quickly and full of porky flavour that overpowers everything in the bowl.
Coming here at 8.45pm on a friday night, we are greeted by its long queues of about 30min (and they no longer have seats outside), but all is forgotten as we digged into the comforting bowls of ramen 💆
($10.90 before GST)
Amazing ramen! i personally love it! it was a tad bit too oily so i’ll probably opt for less oil the next time i am there 🤤
Yup, ramen is indeed love. The soup here is thicc af and the noodles are springy to my liking. The best part of all this? FREE FLOW TAU GHEY! You are gonna be full even before the noodles come.
The only downside here is that it is of limited seating due to space constraint. Might need to queue as well during the meal hours. Suggest that you come earlier to avoid the human traffic.
Having their Black Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, $10.90+$1 for seaweed. With a free flow of hard boiled eggs and flavored bean sprouts, this place really is GREAT VALUE 👍🏼 and oh, the ramen tasted good too!
Order the basic ramen, topped with a flavored egg (additional S$2). Noodles are springy and the pork broth was fragrant and thick. However, the flavorful char siew meat was tough and chewy. Definitely a decent bowl of ramen. There are free flows of seasoned bean sprouts and hard boiled eggs.
(S$9.90++, flavored egg $S2++)
Don’t be fooled by the word “wasabi”, there isn’t any wasabi taste at all. It tastes exactly like a normal ginger ale drink. (S$3++).
This place needs no introduction -- simply the best in town. This was the most basic ramen bowl on their menu (no ramen egg/other add-ons), but the magic is in the broth. At $11 after taxes, you'll be hard-pressed to find something to complain about.
ramen $13.9 + all toppings include additional char siew, black fugus, seaweed, flav egg, spring onion for $5
