A much local taste of ramen to me, with slides of char siew that much similar to those we have in roasted meat stall. The tonkotsu soup was flavory with the soy-seasoned soft boiled egg. $7.90

Add $3 to make it a set with 3 pieces of gyoza and free flow drink.

Not the best taken of photo as the noodles are sadly not captured in this picture. This ramen shop sold kyuushu thin noodles vs hokkaido thick noodles. Of which I tried the former, the noodles had a gentle chewy texture and allowed for quick slurps with its thin size. A choice of lean vs fatty charsiew was given and I gladly took the choice of lean as I liked the firm texture of the meat as opposed to gelatinous texture of fattier bits. The soup in itself was not overly oily and had a creamy milky texture, although not one of the most flavorful I have had. A disappointment would be the onsen tamago (egg), it had been overly cooked and lacked the soft boiled egg texture that we all love of the ramen eggs! Overall a good ramen with most of its attraction on its noodles ;)

Light and refreshing. A bit too bland for me. The dressing was shoyu and was not absorbed by the ramen.
Topup $3 for 3 pieces of Gyoza and free flow green tea/ lemon tea. Disappointed in the free flow because the staff empty the dispensers right after I filled a cup. It's not yet 9pm. 😖

Definitely worth it. And i'll go back everytime i wanna have a quiet environment while having my ramen. And i love the spring onions <3

I have a thing for dipping ramens, so I zeroed on it straight away. The ramen egg and cha shu hides underneath the nori while they serve it with bonito powder on top. Felt like the broth could be thicker and the bonito powder didn't really add value to it. I like that they offer lean cha shu (though not as tasty). Guess it's ok for $10.90 though it definitely cannot compare to the tsukeman ramen I had in Tokyo.
