From the Burpple community

One of the popular food spot at Chinatown, serving their signature wantan mee for many years.

Unfortunately I came too late and they already sold out for their char siew. So can only grab their dumpling noodle.

I still enjoy much of their stilt style of noodle, which is like lor on it. Dumplings was really soft.

Next on your Petaling Street food adventure is wanton mee from this decades-old stall. It’s a small shop, and the crowds throng in during peak lunch hours, so eat and move out quickly! Order the signature Char Siew Wanton Noodles (from RM6) and look forward to a dazzling plate of springy noodles slicked in a tasty dark sauce, accompanied with sweet and tender char siew slices. The dry version comes with a delicious bowl of soup with plump wantons. Follow Burppler Shao Wei's lead and have your noodles with an extra serving of steamed chicken – no regrets.

Tucked in the corner of petaling street, this stalls serves up perfectly cooked noodles that have such a delightful spring and bite to it. The wantons are plump and placed in a flavourful broth, and the noodles are accompanied by your choice of char siew or steam chicken. Check it out when you can!

This nondescript stall smack in the middle of Chinatown serves one of KL's most loved versions of wanton noodles. Speedy service amid swelling crowds makes Koon Kee a great lunch spot — not for lingering, but for staunch satisfaction. Drop in with a few colleagues and order their Char Siew Wanton Noodles (from RM7). The light, springy egg noodles are slicked in a tasty sauce, bolstered by gleaming barbecued pork. If early, you'll stand a better chance of getting the better cuts of tender char siew straddling a nice balance of fat and lean meat. Their soup wanton, often overlooked, also holds its own with melt-in-your-mouth wrappers that encase well-seasoned minced meat.

Everyone coming to KL needs to come here. Noodles were so light and defined. Amazing!
