The sherry-glazed Black Berkshire Pork Chop with carrots and lime butter, for those who enjoy a little bit of sweet in their meat.

Not too bad in taste and portion considering it's only $14.9+ with a daily soup and glass of iced tea. The black pepper sauce was quite fiery on its own, and the green tomato salsa quite saltish, but when mixed together the flavors was just right to pair with the steak.

Awesome brunch I would say! 18.90+ set came with a brunch main, a salad and a juice. The salad served that day was the moroccan roasted lamb salad with couscous and yoghurt, just newly launched. Not a salad person but thought the combi was great.. It's a pity they only serve brunch on Saturdays.

Priced at $14.90++, Sprigs offers one of the best and most affordable lunch sets that I have come across near my school. Each set comes with a soup of the day and a glass of gourmet iced tea. My Surf & Turf consisted of a pan fried boneless chicken thigh, wagyu beef steak and a garlic buttered prawn. All of them were pleasing to the palate, special mention goes to the steak cause who doesn't love wagyu? The Duo Salmon Spaghettini on the other hand, done al dente and the salmon wasn't overdone. The creamy tomato sauce complemented the salmon and pasta really well, both aesthetically and in terms of taste. Sprigs also changes their lunch set menu on a fortnightly basis, so regulars do not have to worry about eating the same old dishes over and over again. Check out their menu on their website at http://www.sprigs-sg.com and note that Ala Carte dishes are not available during lunch. Let's see if my hectic school schedule allows me to become a regular here.

More to come in November! Both eating and working of course! 💁💁😅

This warm chocolate cake is baked till it's just about to be fully cooked, hence retaining a slightly soft, moist and fudgy texture. Compared to many other chocolate desserts that tend to taste like too much sugar, this is just bittersweet, which is great for me because I think that's how chocolate should taste! The black sesame icecream is quite good on its own but an odd pairing to the chocolate cake. I then remember it was supposed to be COCONUT gelato on the menu. Did the kitchen get it wrong or were they out of coconut gelato?
