Love their variety and quality of food, especially their signature Teochew 水晶包 Soon Kueh. With Father’s Day this weekend, it’s just a splendid place visit.

Hi Tea Buffet (S$22.80++/adult) at @swatowrestaurant from 3pm to 5pm with family during the holiday.
At 2.40pm, the waiting area was already packed.
We started with the appetizer plate, followed by the various push carts 🛒 of dim sum going around.
If you don’t like hot Chinese tea, help yourself to the ice water and cucumber lemonade at the counter.
By 4pm, the staff went around with the bills.
Lastly it was dessert with hot red bean paste, mango 🥭 pudding, aiyu jelly and almond jelly longan.

A dish that brings joy. The omelette was both crispy and soft, accompanied by a bowl of succulent oysters with special sauce. Dip the omelette into the sauce, pair it with the fresh oyster, the wholeness will blast in your mum. Recommended dish!

The crystal skin was a little hard even though I ate it immediately once served, disappointing. Generous filling of red bean and the sweetness was perfect for me.

Location: Changi Jewel Airport

(5 pcs for S$7.80)

I typically shun away Orh Nee with coconut cream as I don’t find it authentic enough. The Sweet Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts here is authentic. However, I still cannot find another Orh Nee that can top my Grandma’s version.

How do you like your eggs? I like mine crispy with oysters at the side just like this Teochew Crispy Oyster Omelette. They did not skimp on the eggs and the oysters are soaked separately in a bowl of chili. The calories are worth it as every bite was so damn shiok.
