An impressive medley brimming with plump fish fillets, blue mussels and shrimps baked with lemongrass infused wild rice, spicy tomato sauce and gooey melted cheese.

Super tender juicy quarter chicken elegantly seasoned with a heavenly blend of spices, roasted to perfection and served with rich savory herb gravy.
Gravy was on the saltier side however the chicken was really done to perfection.

tender & crispy!! was especially huge too and didn’t take long to be served despite being told that we had to be prepared to wait long👍🏼

Swensen’s bestseller, al dente spaghetti in spicy tomato cream sauce served with fresh blue mussels, fish fillet and succulent prawns. Punchy and slight tangy which brings comfort.

Ultimately, loved the deep fried crunchy chicken.
It sat on the golden waffle square, side serve of straight fries and coleslaw.
($14.90)
Not bad.

The spaghetti Bolognese was good because of the sauce. The meatballs were tough but well-seasoned. Really expected them to be juicier but it's hard to find good meatballs haizzzz. The dish in the background is baked fish rice. It was also good. The portions for both were huge! Couldn't finish them. Still, a worth-it meal due to the 1-1 lunch deals from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on weekdays. We spent like $9 each only!

Crispy, juicy, crunchy pieces of chicken stacked on a fluffy golden waffle drizzled with lusciously decadent maple syrup.
Loved it! Chicken was well-seasoned and not dry. Waffle could have been more buttery, but it was still nice and crispy. This came as a weekday lunch set for $14.90 with free soup+drink+ice cream. Very worth it if you have a great appetite!

One scoop of delicious goodness! Came with the weekday 11am to 2pm lunch deal of a main + soup + drink + ice cream. Worth it!

Food's nothing to shout about, but decent and quiet place for Saturday breakfast with the parents.

Every month it will feature a speciality dish from a different country. This month's dish is Grilled Lemongrass Chicken 🇻🇳 ($14.90), served with a traditional Vietnamese dipping sauce. Keep a lookout for the Korean 🇰🇷 special in May!

The O List

Price Range: $20-$30

O for: Overpriced

What is popular here?
SG50 Laska Penne [$17.00++]
While it tastes okay, with mussels, shrimp and scallops to boot, I couldn't help but think how much more satisfying a bowl of actual laksa would be. Singapore, yay you~

PS Someone should really do something about the service standard at the Clementi branch. Basically "Diner Dash" on the highest difficulty.

What should I try instead?
328 Katong Laksa (QSC) [$4.00]
If the original's too east for your liking, Queensway Shopping Centre provides some Western salvation. There're 2 ground-level laksa stalls, so look before you leap.

A SG50 September special ($14.90), it was a pleasant surprise to be honest. Chicken was juicy, nicely marinated and fried. Banana wrapped in between the chicken was quite sweet, but complemented the savoury rather well, reminded me of our good ol' goreng pisang!

I can't believe I tried this one. It actually tasted like Nasi Lemak! It got a little bleh halfway through, though. Give it a try just for the novelty.

Swensen's new lunch time set is great value for money! Order any main course and get a free side, sundae, or drink!
