More Reviews of good food at Thai Hao Chi Mookata

Highly recommended by a friend to try, the best mookata she ever had. Thai Hao Chi Mookata is just next to Springleaf MRT station exit. So convenient.

Thai Hao Chi mookata uses charcoal, one of the few in Singapore that does. Tables were big and spacious.

Ingredients were all fresh and I really enjoyed their marinated meats that were a burst of flavours, I enjoyed the chicken and pork more than the beef.

What's rather unique here is that they serve bak hwa, which was very good and is a must try when u come here.

Another must try side-dish when u are here, is the Thai style abalone.

Can get very crowded on weekends, so please make reservations prior to arriving.

They only have one set menu, $39.9 for 2 pax , after that diners can top up other ingredients.
I like the marinate pork, its tasty, the rest ingredients are pretty basic, and the soup quite robust, it will be better if the chilli more spicy.
Recommended to call 8553 5581 before come down, coz they always full.

Service was fast and great. Rec the chicken the most as it was very well marinated. Should have more flavours of meat as the other ingredients were quite average. Soup was good and flavourful!

Not really a fans of mookata. First time trying this restaurant, the price here are very affordable. 2pax platter only costed $39.90 with good choice of meat. It was pretty filling for 3 of us. the marinated meat a bit salty for me. Overall, The service there is nice.

One of the best mookata with marinated meat that comes in a set. Doesn't look filling, but with the meat it was more than sufficient for my Boyfriend and I. Went there again 3x after our first. Located in a not so popular place yet often full house when it comes to dinner. Will be going there again!

Mookata really hits the spot, given the cold and rainy weather! The meats were nicely marinated, and ingredients were quite fresh. The best part is the soup which is super flavorful nearing the end of the meal. Cook a packet of the tom yum maggi mee in it and you have a scrumptious bowl of noodles. It costs $39.90 for the set which can fill 2-3 pax (although you may need to order more if there are 3 people). Not really worth the price, considering that there are mookata buffets around. Make sure to grab a seat outdoors so you don't smell too much like barbecue after your meal!

The place gives you a traditional mookata experience by using charcoal. Be wary that you will reek of barbecue after your meal! Choose the outdoors if possible, we sat indoors which didn't have much aircon. Meat here were all well marinated and the soup was light. Thai milk tea was rather diluted. The platter for 2 shown here cost $39.90 nett. Add on some Tom yum Maggie Mee, mix in the egg and viola, you have a delicious (albeit overpriced) steamboat. Maybe I'm just not a fan of mookata, as I won't be proclaiming ε€ͺε₯½εƒ just yet. The place also sells some dishes like seafood white beehoon from Monday to Thursday.

A must-order dish for me here. The sweetness of the abalone slices goes so perfectly well with the tangy and spicy sauce. (Date: 11 December 2015 Friday) #abalone #thaihaochi #ζ³°ε₯½εƒ #787111

Although slightly out of the way, hunting this place down is well worth the effort. Similar to Mookata, this establishment uses charcoal to deliver its promise of a traditional mookata experience. The value-for-money $39 platter comprising prawns, squid, fishballs, meats, plus a bowl of vegetables, mushrooms, vermicelli and eggs is an absolute steal β€” it can easily feed two or even three modest eaters. They don't charge GST and service charge either, all the more reason to feast! Be sure to order their Thai Style Sliced Abalone doused in a sweet, savoury and tangy sauce as an appetiser or a side dish.

Great for groups, this place has air conditioned indoor seating and a small outdoor seating area. Either way, you'll most likely smell like charred meats after your meal, but it's worth it!

Slightly spicy abalone slices are available from the a la carte menu. It didn't take long for everyone to chow down these goodies.

Seafood & Meats that come with the $39 set. The marinated chicken is super delicious, plus the bacon!

The prawns were fresh and marinated meats were fragrant and tasty. The outlet has air conditioned seating inside or seats outdoors. Either way, as with most BBQs, you'll definitely smell of charred meats after your meal. After the BBQ, the soup is super delicious with all the fats that have dripped in from the BBQ meats and seafood. Each set is $39 and comes with a plate of meat & seafood, plus a bowl of veges, mushrooms vermicelli & eggs. Between 7 of us, we ordered 2 sets and additional sides of bacon and abalone. I'm now super full and in a food coma, but it's so worth it! πŸ˜‚ #eleGlutton

Tried out this #Mookata place at Upper Thomson for a family dinner.

Minimum bill of $80 entitles you to a bigger pot. Recommended if you have more than 4 Pax tucking in. Decent but not outstanding. Their Thai milk tea's a little too sweet for my liking. But then again I'm not one with a sweet tooth. Highlight of the meal is their homemade chilli.
