I am not a fan of coffee but this cup of lavender latte caught my eyes when I was browsing through the app. The combination of espresso, milk and lavender gives out a cup of lavender infused latte. The bits of lavender flowers also adds to the floral notes. I find the coffee strength just nice for someone like me who doesn't take a lot of coffee 》$5.50

Chicken fillet with avocado, onion jam, tomato, turkey bacon & fries 》$15

Huge and hearty portion of chicken avocado sandwich with a good amount of greens, bacon and fries. The use of onion jam makes it a little spicy but matches well with the chicken fillet. We felt the portion is quite huge and it is always better to share this.

Cinnamon raisin bagel, smoked salmon, cream cheese & scrambled eggs 》$14.50

Love the warm, soft and chewy cinnamon raisin bagel. The smoked salmon were normal with a slight salty and smoky flavour while those scrambled eggs are done just nice. The portion works well as a casual brunch to catch up over a cup of coffee.

Ordered the truffle mushroom pasta & salmon fillet accompanied with a chai latte & lavender latte. Redeemed it with burpple beyond and paid only ~$25 for everything in total. Nice and affordable!

My friend and i used the burpple 1 for 1 for this. We both got the Holy Crab because it sounded so appetising. It was pretty good cos they used really crab and you could taste some crab flavour. My friend really liked the flavour but it wasnt really to my liking cos of the chopped capsicum and onion inside haha but its just a subjective preference. Truffle fries ($8) were not bad too! Could taste the truffle and they were very generous with the parmesan cheese too. We tried the lavendar latte and it was a little more bitter than expected but overall not bad. Would come back here!

My mum and I visited this vintage looking cafe quietly tucked away behind tall plants along the street this afternoon for lunch! We ordered the Bagel Set ($14.50), Truffle Mushroom Pasta ($16.90) and 1 hot + iced lavender latte ($7.50) under Burpple’s 1 for 1! Apart from the tasty food, they dont charge for service and even provided free wifi.
The Bagel Set came with a cinnamon-raisin bagel (not plain YES!) which complemented the cream cheese well~ smoked salmon was also fresh and you can choose to add on other ingredients such as avocados if youre looking for something extra.
As for the truffle mushroom pasta, the truffle taste was evident enough which really brought out the flavour of the cream and the dish as a whole!
Lastly, both the hot and iced lavender latte had a strong lavender taste on top of the coffee, which came as a surprise to me as the reviews said the iced one didnt have much lavender taste.
Overall, an enjoyable experience and i would definitely come back again for the unique coffee & decent food!
