The Clan's winter menu is still on. For $78++, you get amuse bouche, a cold appetizer, a hot appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. Pictured is their Spanish Pork Belly served with Popcorn, Charred Corn and Jus.

For the third course, you can choose either the foie gras, mussels, potato gnocchi or this George's Bay Scallops with smoke celeraic, apple and chorizo crumbs. Sweet, juicy and nicely crusted.. Pretty good.

Anyone else loves cold pasta as much as me? We started our 7 Course Winter Menu with this refreshing, al dente, angel hair with just the right hint of truffle scent. For this menu, the chef has created seasonal twists to his French classics, and kept some of his crowd favourites such as the wagyu loin with bubbling jus on hoba leaf.

I'll be sharing more about other dishes I had during this tasting.

Very disappointing dish
There are only slices tomato and tomato puree in the tart... worst ratatouille ever

Please avoid

The other mains we picked, something a little more adventurous by my standards because I avoid lamb/mutton like the plague. But this Young Lamb, served with mint pea purée, ratatouille, burnt leek, cous cous and jus was surprisingly done well! To be fair, I'm not the best person to judge but I really enjoyed it. No gamey taste but still retaining its flavour, tasty and tender. Also, thought the ratatouille was a nice touch to the dish (but a little over used cos' our first course Amuse Bouche, aka Chef's Palate of the Day, had a ratatouille tartlet).

Chose this Wagyu Beef Loin as a main, from last night's 6 course meal. Beautifully marbled Wagyu beef short ribs served on a hoba leaf atop hot stone for you to cook to the doneness you want. (The hoba leaf is native to Japan, often used for grilling, but I don't think it affects the taste..?) The result? A perfectly cooked, melt-in-the-mouth beef. SO DARN TENDER. Went really well with the jus and himalayan pink salt on the side but I loved it as it was in its natural goodness!

This is the Black Forest (avail. both as part of set menu or a la carte) that comes presented like your very own edible terrarium.

Boyf's main dish and he love it. Me on the other side has totally different view on this dish. I just couldn't appreciate the smell of the fish and it has no other sauces to match it with.

Finally comes the main dish. This is delish and it's my favourite! I rarely eat duck because they tend to have a smell which I didn't like but this didn't have it at all. The meat was smooth, tender and chewy.

Looks good and apetizing. It tasted good too. I even brought the shell home as a souvenir.

Even though I can't bring myself to eat the jelly fats, I went on to order this coz boyf says that this dish has good recommendations. No doubts, this did not disappoint me at all. It comes with a layer of crispy skin, the texture of the fats were not too jelly and the meat is very tender. A total good combination for the dish.

The oysters were big! They looked fresh and juicy too. 1 oyster accompanied with lemon, 1 with tomato cubes on top of the oyster and another one served with egg yolk in a shot glass.

Alaskan King Crab w Seasonal Greens in Homemade Karashi Dressing - This was my cold dish and it's also one of my favourite. The sweetness of the crab really stands out. The special dressing used on the greens are good too. I love the corn in the greens.

Bacon Immersed Summer Corn Chowder & Ginseng Chicken Consommé - The corn chowder is thick and creamy. It's nice but I think that It is best to share as it's too filling to have all by myself. The ginseng chicken on the other hand is good for cleansing. it's something light but the ginseng tasted slightly on the strong note. Consumers who doesn't like ginseng would find this too strong for them.

This is the only section on the menu where you dont get to choose. Everyone will be having the same trio of Foie Gras Chawanmushi, Pan-Seared Scallop and Prawn Sushi. The chawanmushi tasted ordinary which is also smooth and silky The scallop is fantastic - Sweet, bouncy and chewy! The sushi has generous toppings on it which makes it look differet. However, it tasted just average.

With some Truffle Mashed Potato, this main got thumbs up from the whole table.

The Clan Restaurant had just shifted to PoMo 2 weeks ago, serving 5 course Lunch Set at SGD 49.80++ and 6 course Dinner Set at SGD 69.80++. Beef Short Ribs on Lava Stone (Part of the Set Meal) - Drizzle the peppercorn sauce on the beef and see some sizzling action to keep yourself warm. The beef were tender but lacked a bit of flavor.

Location: PoMo lvl 2-01/08
Opening hours: 11.30am - 2.30pm, 6pm - 11pm (Mon-Sun)

Time to dig in!

Not too thick crusting, meaningful strawberries serving and a nicely flavored, almost-tiramisu-like creme. Nom nom nom!

Full bodied soup; they didn't skimp on the truffle paste.
