We were at Beanstro after som shopping at MBS and ordered a strawberry cheesecake, dark chocolate and mocha. The drinks were refreshing and chocolately! My girl finished the whole cake! We loved watching the boats row past and fountain, and had a great afternoon! Recommended for the ambience and desserts.
3 flaky & tender fish fillets which came with dill aioli (almost like a not-so-jelat tartar sauce). the red snapper was not superrr crispy because it was very lightly-battered, but i actually liked it that way because it’s not oily in the least bit and made it very easy to finish!
this was amazing🤩 generous portion and cheesy. lots of carbonaras are just one dimensional & bland but this wasn’t! really liked that they used penne coz i can fill up each one with the sauce mmm yes

Pretty good chocolate cake if you’re a chocolate lover, with a thick layer of ganache and a smaller layer of sponge below. We were here more for the gorgeous surroundings. Nice place to chill (especially if you get good seats), recommend!
Relaxing area to have a drink. More of a coffee shop than a restaurant or bistro, as the menu is quite limited. Friendly but slow service. The nearby TWG seems better, in terms of atmosphere and food choices.

Especially with a pairing like this 😋! . @coffeebeansg Nitro Cold Brew was very smooth and is one of the better Nitro Cold Brews out there. Paired with their Strawberry Yuzu Mousse Cake (one of their best sellers) which was sufficiently sweet, layered with soft sponge and hits all the right notes for a light teatime treat 💕. This dish is the perfect dish for seafood and risotto lovers. Presentation of seafood is 10/10, with a creamy sauce and fresh prawns and scallops.
Fine beside the fountain and you might get a chance to watch the water fountain whirpool performance during dinner. Nothing mind blowing about this dish though. The table beside us had really yummy looking desserts, I’d probably give that a try next time! 😋
The Fries here has a hint of citrus taste and was fried to a golden crisp. The cheese dipping at the side complemented the fries really well, not too overbearing but one does get a little jelat after a while 👍🏼

Salted caramel bread butter puddi g ($9)-custardy, think they used croissant for this.salted caramel is on the bottom with some walnuts, the the caramel was a dissapointment 4/5

Apart from this beautiful Scrambled Eggs on Croissant (S$16.50++), Beanstro has introduced 18 other NEW dishes. Among them, their crispy soft shell crab salad (S$19.50++), Tiger Prawns in olive oil with roasted baguette (S$16.50++) and Honey Glazed Chicken (S$22.50++) took my heart away! ♥️

This was taken during a food tasting.
I repeat, FLAWLESS! Their Spanish-style tiger prawns were so skilfully sautéed in garlic, tossed with chilli flakes & pumped up with extra virgin olive oil. Served with toasted baguette, this is one of the new menu items at Beanstro that took my breath & soul away ☁️
This lightly crisped pan-seared salmon fillet was served with grilled asparagus, pan-roasted button mushrooms, mesclun salad & mango salsa. We know where to dine next time we're at MBS.

A generous serving of prawns, scallops & mussels. Please do add chilli flakes with it as it can get quite "jelak". But still a satisfying meal!
The unique spices used highlighted the crabcake's distinct flavour. Not the usual crabcakes i've ever tasted. Affordable priced as well! 10 thumbs up!
