sweet potato, sauced veggies, macadamia cheese, goats cheese, pumpkin seeds,
LOVEDDD this. We've always had their non-pizza items, this is the first time we're trying their pizza. I never expected to like pizza at a cafe?! This was SUCH a pleasant surprise, from now on weโre probably going to order this every single time.
Objectively it is more of a healthy flatbread (the base is wholemeal and flat, no fluff no gluten development, just a lil bit of crisp) but the toppings are wonderful, everything went so well together. The macadamia cheese is slightly cheesy, texture was a bit like a beany purรฉe, I liked this a lot. Sautรฉed veggies were delish - zucchini, red peppers, mushrooms, onions, sweet peas, all soft with a bite, cooked well. Sweet potatoes gave extra sweetness and creaminess. And the goat's cheese was not too stinky, very palatable. Pumpkin seeds for the crunch. SO GOOD.
I donโt know why the waiter recommended the ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ข๐ค๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ ($๐๐) but it was awful. I would usually just finish the food even if itโs bad, but this was hard to get down. ๐ฅด
They claim to have added a lime, ginger and sesame dressing, but there is no distinguishable flavour other than a stark bitterness and old taste of the daikon โnoodlesโ. We asked them if the dish was supposed to taste like that and they offered us more dressing, which was just OIL?
Also for the salmon, while really crispy on the outside, it was pretty overcooked. This dish was... a hard pass.
I mean, for a restaurant that prides themselves on the rawness of their ingredients, I would expect the ingredients to be a lot fresher. We intended to get dessert too, but after that last dish, we were outta there.

The ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ข ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ ๐ง๐ ($๐๐) doesnโt win any marks on looks, but itโs deceptively flavourful!Itโs quite unlike anything Iโve tried before, thin slices of zucchini and tomato, layered with taco โmeatโ (I have no idea what it was), creamy cashew mayo, macadamia cheese and pesto.
The portion looks small but itโs quite filling as the dish is very creamy! The different sauces had distinctive flavour profiles that melded well together. But I just wish that the tomato sauce was fresher

Being an avid eater of processed food, I must say the food here opened my eyes to โfarm to tableโ and the beauty of fresh food. Tad pricey for my own lifestyle but definitely recommend for those who want a fresher diet!
Looking for a healthy yet tasty rice bowl? Look no further!
The barramundi is very fresh and cooked just right. To add flavor to this rice bowl, it comes with 2 sauces on the side - pesto sauce and gazapo sauce (some sort of mexican tasting tomato sauce). The pesto sauce is rich and flavourful, while the gazapo sauce adds a nice tang to the rice bowl. There is also a small serving of avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions.
Overall, a very wholesome and yummy rice bowl. Will come back again for more!
If you love mushrooms and pesto, this is the pizza for you!
This pizza has a very crispy crust, and is filled with generous amounts of mushrooms. The mushrooms are just the right texture - not too chewy, but not too soft. The best part of it is the pesto sauce! Very rich and hearty - one of the best pesto sauces Iโve ever tasted. The eggs are also cooked to perfection, with a runny yolk in the centre.
This is my 3rd time eating it, and it has never let me down!
This place has a huge expat following and popular to vegan/vegetarian/gluten conscious diners. They do have non vegetarian food as well such as the one pictured and brown rice bowls with barramundi and chicken. I am very impressed with the vegan options. We had the berries vegan waffle and it is really delicious ๐ It has this fragrant coconut after-taste that you might relate to nonya kuehs, and the chewy texture of mochi.
Many vegan cafes in Singapore simply resort to soy as a meat-free alternative, but The Living Cafe takes it up a notch by infusing a myriad of healthy nuts, seeds and grains (not forgetting fresh vegetables too) into their food, making them wholesome and nutritious. Take for example, the RAWoasted broccoli mushroom pizza ($20) has a crust made out of herbs, oats and flax seeds, and toppings of pesto/marinara sauce, vegetables and macadamia cheese. The taste and texture of the crust definitely needed some time to get used to as it isn't crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside like the typical ones; rather, it's slightly hard throughout and requires more chewing. In fact, this texture is also present in the patty of their TLC 'cheese' burger and I guess all that chewing is the reason behind my satiety after a seemingly small-portioned meal.
But the greedy me couldn't resist their tantalising RAW desserts too. Tried the lemon cranberry tart and ganache tart (both $9.50/slice) - while I really loved the flavour and the crisp crust, the filling were too sweet for my liking.
All in all, I really loved the food offerings here and I will definitely come back again to try other dishes (they serve meat too!). The location is really convenient too (just outside Sixth Avenue MRT) but I've to say that the food is really pricey!
This Bukit Timah cafe is well-known for its raw food selection, but what we like about it is that it also offers a good array of cooked healthy fare along with some meaty mains โ great for gathering with both health nuts and those who can't live without meat. Get the Veggie Rainbow Nori Rolls ($12) to share while you peruse the rather extensive menu. Packed with all sorts of veggies including avocado, beetroot and cabbage, these are good for you yet, as Burppler Cheryl Wee puts it, "not too much like eating grass". On mains, the raw Zucchini Pesto Pasta ($15.50) is one of their signatures and a dish that's full on flavour yet easy on the tummy, thanks to the light zucchini "noodles". The Wild Barramundi Brown Rice Bowl ($17) on the other hand is a non-vegetarian standout that features a piece of perfectly-cooked fish. The Chocolate Monkey smoothie ($9) blending cashew milk, banana, Medjool dates and organic raw cacao powder is delightful to sip on, or crack open a bottle of their Organic Wine (from $70 a bottle).
Avg Price: $25 per person

Had no idea what a 'raw brownie' taste like, we decided to give it a try (despite its steep price). It was surprisingly pleasing. Layers of texture due to the many different ingredients used - a very healthy brownie I would say
I ordered the raw zucchini pesto pasta (as a vegan I thought I had to give zoodles a shot at least once ) and it didn't disappoint. Don't expect pasta though, expect more of a delicious salad. This leaves you feeling fresh and not with a food baby at all! It was $15.50, for AMAZING flax seed crackers and guac it was $7.50, and my mom got a mouth watering salmon burger with sweet potato fries which was $15ish. The desserts looks so so beautiful but are very pricey because they are mostly all raw. 8/10 โจ๐น๐must come here again but I would try the tofu burger
Wild Barramundi Brown Rice Bowl. Wanted to order the zucchini pesto pasta but i didn't see it on the menu so next up is this rice bowl! It is served in a claypot and mine comes with pesto sauce which you can mixed it with your brown rice. It is all garnished with shredded lettuce, red onion, avocado, lime wedge. I just wanted to say how fresh and yummy the barramundi fish is! yum yum yum! The brown rice is also fragrant. Can i eat healthy from now on? lol
i think this is my first time drinking a soy latte? The taste is quite similar but you get the soy aftertaste if you know what i mean? hahaha would be nice if they have a nice latte art though.
this cafe right here is my default cafe to go to for healthy eats and if I could oh I would eat here everyday!!! these veggie nori rolls are Super healthy and filled with avocado, beers, carrots and rockets. the different greens with the yummy vinaigrette sauces gives these healthy rolls a nice flavour without having to taste too much like eating grass.
meaters gonna hate. but this is really the best meal for a crazy weather today - zucchini pasta. a tower of fridge-cold shredded raw zucchini with comforting nutty home made pesto to taste and burst of cherry tomatoes to excite. texture and strands were every bit pastaish! some may find it bland or not inspiring, but i for one love dishes that are light but well-balanced and all components coming together!

Zucchini noodles with pesto sauce + mushroom and egg pizza !!!! I was rather impressed with the pizza bc the crust was really thin, somewhat like a biscuit but way more flavorful, and it paired well with the ingredients! The zoodles were quite a disappointment though :-( tried it because the reviews said that the pesto sauce went well with the freshness of the zucchini but I felt that it was a tad bland???? Expected a burst of flavor but it just tasted quite 'watery'. The menu items (which you can find on their website) all looked really impressive and since I live so near, I really can't wait to go back to try some more healthy goodness !!!!
Wasn't as rich as I would like it to be (in terms of the lemon flavour) but I really enjoyed the nutty crust.
Super delicious and rich chocolate cake!! I'm not even into mousse cakes (this had the texture of a mousse) and I'm not a big fan of chocolate cake either. (BUT I DO LOVE CHOCOLATE by itself.) But this cake was really, really good because of the yummy base which was made out of nuts and dates, which complimented the chocolate cheesecake really well. I am totally coming back here for healthy desserts.
